Excellent video Rob it bought back all my memories from the early 90's when I use to race a Zip Bandit / Rotax in the 125 Open long circuit series best finish for me was overall 3rd place in the 1995 championship. Wishing I was still out there racing but I have lost touch with the sport over the years, I don't even know what classes are still current now, we had 125 P&R (piston & reed valve), 125 National (air cooled singles) 125 Open (water cooled), 210 Greeves, 250 National (250 singles) and 250 International (250 twins). Our GP was held at Silverstone each year apart from a disaster year at Brands with 2 fatalities over the weekend, the meeting had to be cancelled.
Had no idea that I could hold my breath for 8+ minutes. Almost passed out. I don't know how this happened to find it's way into my feed but I'm sure liking it. Once you found the line it was smooth. I think I could become a big fan of this style of racing. Thanks for sharing this amazing video and good luck in your future races.

@@MyRob10 I did a few seasons in my own twin prokart (over 20yrs ago now), but a friend had a 250 superkart, (I'm not sure where he raced it). He took me to Blackbushe for the day to let me test drive it, which was very trusting of him, and I was amazed at the unbelievable power. I couldn't even see properly as I went through the chicane as my head smacked from side to side, I had to take one good look on entry, then rattle through and hope I came out the other side in the right place. When I saw you flexing your fingers I remembered the strength needed round the higher speed corners, and the heat of the tyres when I pitted. And the acceleration nearly took my head off :) (Then it was back to my little trusty prokart the next weekend haha :( )

Honestly, it looks like such a rough ride. I think it's probably more fun to just watch these guys on YT (plus I would really suck and spin out and finish last).
Thank you Thomas! I can’t wait to share with you all the National Uk races I have next year but also a special race abroad too! I’m glad you enjoyed the racing and I really appreciate the support! If you want any sort of videos on the channel let me know 👌
First ever Superkart watch, I'm exhausted. That was an overload, there's so much going on in that cockpit and on the track as well. Glad my motorbike doesn't shake so when I ride it, then again, I don't approach the con brio displayed here. Fantastic watch, most enjoyable and an excellent placing after your school/home buying- I creeped the comments- so congratulations.
Ahh that’s so good to hear you enjoyed it mate!! It’s so exhausting (especially 6 years out) lol! 😂 you’ll deffo appreciate some of the core principles etc with your motorbiking! Hope you enjoy the channel videos matey!
Ho....ly........Crap!!!!! My knuckles are white just watching this. I don't think you could have gotten anymore from that rocket you're sitting in. Damn, you're awesome. As for the smoke. Nothin like a two stroke aroma.
Real seat of ya pants racing, superb m8 Raced myself many moons ago at tilbury. Parilla tt27 was my first engine then rotax dsb/c. Gave up for 20 years and then got back into karting and purchased a Rotax max evo senior. I could never drive that beast of yours at full chatter. 🤯 Now 56 years young and still rubbing sidepods.😉

@@impressivemotorsports great question mate! I was thinking of doing a full cost break down video of How to get into Superkarts and what the costs are for competition… lots of people have asked so could be my next video to the channel! 👌
If some asked me to show them what total madness looks like, I'd show them this video lol. You guys are brave and I commend you for it. Thanks for sharing!
It does haha! Thanks for the support!! This years racing will be even faster as I’m going to the fastest Superkart class with the twin engine!! Don’t forget to subscribe 🔥💪🎉
Cheers Rob. A friend of mine got me hooked on karts when I drove his Cagiva 125 gearbox on a sprint track. I went racing an RM250 grass kart for many years after that and was able to give him a run in mine. He was then running a Yamaha TZ250 twin. Plenty of go, but I never got a drive of that. He was racing with the big boys in Rotax 250s and the like and did ok. I stopped racing due to a back injury (not through karts) so it's great to see videos where you really feel like you're in the kart! :)
Sounds Great Peter!! i love it when i see comments like this and my video brings back memories of their racing times. It sounds like you guys had some brilliant racing! absolutely right, i dont think people understand how crazy superkarts really are! I'm actually moving up to the TWIN Cylinder Division 1 superkarts this year which is going to be crazy to say the least!! Loads of videos coming soon!
First Cart race I've watched Performance car bike boat race fan .... You Rock! Incredible. Great job!!!! Really enjoyed it I thought the Hayabusa shook your lid...WOW!!!
I've done numerous bike trackdays here - this looks amazing! Bet you feel the bumps going up Clay Hill and then going to Lodge! Camera was spot on - loved seeing the hard work going into the drive.
Thanks for the awesome comment! Glad you enjoyed the video and can’t wait to share my 2022 racing videos! I’m moving up to the Division 1 twin cylinder Superkarts so they are even quicker! I hope you can subscribe and come on this racing journey with me! Happy new year!
I raced RMax karts from about 2000-2010. Sealed Rotax 125cc engines, no gearbox...the only long circuit track we did was Barber Motorsports in B'ham, AL. with only about 30hp we could go almost flat out for most of the lap. Nothing like these monsters. I would assume you were hitting around 130-140mph on the longest straight? Most folks - who haven't raced karts - don't believe me when I tell them the level of grip these things have. The highest lateral g reading I remember was about 3g's. Great stuff.
Great insight mate! Absolutely matey, they will go about 140mph, and the twins would stretch up to about 160mph which is what I’m racing next year so make sure you subscribe and come on the journey with me!! Can’t wait!
That means a lot mate, i always give 110% in every race! Sometimes it goes your way, other times in motorsport it can really bite you. What went on with number 12 when he inched passed you. . You obviously new he was coming through.still a nice job. Also while I’m at it what’s going on in formula one.I’m blinded with science I believe the top 3 are just better drivers or do they have an advantage with pace. Did Lewis get robbed. And I’m an Ozzie why the hell couldnt Ricciardo get his shit together with his car.seriously I think the best drivers just have talent and balls 2go withit
There was talk that the Superkarts around Monaco would have similar laptimes to the F1 cars and it wouldn’t make the F1 cars seem as impressive so they wouldn’t allow Superkarts to be a support race (that’s what I heard on the grape vine anyway
It would make for amazing racing! I can’t wait for next years 2022 season, for both F1 and my Superkarting as well! Hope you come along for the journey with me!
When 21 out breaks you then when he went off track on the rumbles then he passes you back, I thought there’s no way your winning this race then you did!!! Great driving and patience!!!
It was a hell of a rollercoaster! But kept my head down and pushed through it! Glad you enjoyed it and hopefully you’ll enjoy the other races on my channel! Take care

Awesome! God does this look soo freaking fun! If I could go back in time I would do Karting instead of Motocross. I raced MX but got a late start, I think I was 13 or something. Now I have a DEEP appreciation for Formula racing, Indycar, and all starts with Karts! Love the video
We actually get a lot of lads from the motor cross world and also sidecar too. I think “bang for buck” you can’t beat Superkarts! We are lapping 2 seconds quicker than British Superbikes” and nearly on par with F3 racing! 🔥💯
Don't know why this video popped up, but you've got me!. Great racing. As an old geezer (60) I used to race karts many moons ago in the non gearbox category. I did it for about 6 years and loved every minute of it. Quick question....do you need to heel and toe and use the clutch on the downshifts or is it a full slipper clutch up and down the box. Good luck for 2022 I'll keep an eye out for the videos and try and get to a meeting or two (I've subscribed). Cheers. 😀👍
I REALLY appreciate the support thanks for the great comment. As for the gearbox in these Superkarts its a fully sequential Gbox, pull back for 1st year then forward to go up the box. Brilliant thank you for subscribing, what new content would you like to see on the Channel? I am uploading a new video today which will show my Action Packed 2021 Highlights!!!!
It was my first race back in a long time and I actually trained quite hard over winter to prepare physically. However in the race with no assisted steering and the speeds we are pulling (close to F3) it is very hard, especially the hands, forearms and neck!
Thanks Scott for the Support!! it really does go a long way! I am picking up my new chassis in a few weeks so i'll be uploading a new collection video very soon!
I really like how you are just driving your racing line ( I don't know the track and looks like how I would attack it.) and not a blocking line. Fun to watch. Of course there is a time to block but it's not all race long.
Thank you! Cheers! Glad you enjoyed it!! loads more races coming soon in the 2022 racing season!! would love it if you could subscribe and come on this journey with me!! :)
The level of fitness, strength and stamina to dive one of these Karts full chat like this for any duration is off the chart! I'm way too old and outa shape to even think about it now ;)
Absolutely mate! I actually did a sports science degree and my disertation was on the physiological effects of Superkart racing - 5 peoples heart rates went up to 180bpm or above which is there maximum heart rate output!! Similar to running at full sprint for as long as possible!! Absolutely crazy results!
I’m thinking of doing a video of how to get into Superkarting and what it’s all about! Thanks for the comment and hope you can subscribe to the channel! Thanks mate! 👊🔥
Thanks for the comment and support! You will have to come to a Superkart meeting one time, pop over and say hello! Hope you can subscribe and come on 2022 racing season with me!! Happy new year guys!
@@MyRob10 we have seen the 125s on track at Oulton before, but not yet seen the 250s. If Oulton is on the calendar for this season we will definitely come along and say hi!
@@SimRacingBible Ah brilliant! i'm actually moving up to the Division 1 Twin Superkart's next year which are just mental so keep an eye out for them and all the racing vids that come along with it. Never know, a collab could be on the horizon...
That was a blast! Thanks for that. Just wondering what was causing that horrible juddering surging vibration? Since it seemed to stay about the same at lower speeds from the first lap through higher speed laps, I’m guessing it wasn’t bumps on the track or chassis/tires (I wasn’t able to see if these Karts have suspension or not, don’t think so…), so engine or transmission? Ignition or clutch slipping? That had to be irritating as hell! Good job working through that- it must be physically exhausting! Happy New Year!
Awesome comment thanks! As for the vibration it's literally a combination of the engine vibrations, no suspension and these tracks can be quite bumpy (believe it or not).Glad your enjoyed the action and hope you can subscribe for the upcoming 2022 racing videos!! :)
The wheel bearings must be getting a thrashing considering the lack of suspension and the tiny wheel diameter. The rpm must be 10 times a full size car wheel.
The Chassis has huge flexibility and the low tyre pressures all contribute to some kind of agility when going over bumps! But yes your 100% right it’s a back breaker over bumps
Oulton Park is one of my favourite circuits in the Uk, it’s so fast and like a rollercoaster and It’s on the calendar for this year too! Would love it if you could subscribe mate, I’ve got so many videos coming to the channel soon!! Massive thanks for the support! 🔥🔥
My dad and i know a mechanic who used to work for dea engineering. He told us years ago that these superkarts are something else, and the power outputs are just incredible for these little 2 stroke engines. We were a bit sceptical about what he said, but he showed us a video and it was amazing. These things are mental, i'd love to drive one of them
Brilliant, it's a small world! We really do push every last drop of power out of them. I am actually moving up a class for next years season and will be racing the Twin Cylinder engines which do around 160mph! Thanks for the comment and support and hope you can subscribe to enjoy the racing next year.
Good idea, Rob 👍 I started in a 100cc NGB, then made the quantum leap to 250 Inter. A bit scary at the start - everything comes at you so much faster. My neck felt like spaghetti after about 3 laps - couldn't tell if I was looking down into the seat, or staring into the sky. A lot of neck exercises later, and I came good. The acceleration, braking, and sheer cornering power is exhilarating. I hope others get the chance to punt one of these things around a track - safely.
@@MyRob10 .....yea do the entry video Rob, but tell the older Rookies with pockets of money their no where near this level for a few years. Start smart guys, broken ribs and dislocated backs.....you'll wish you stayed smaller longer, nahh, were nuts🤕

Subscribed Rob - looking forward to your season ahead. When is the next Oulton Park day?
Can’t wait!

And I’m an Ozzie why the hell couldnt Ricciardo get his shit together with his car.seriously I think the best drivers just have talent and balls 2go withit
Should substitute F1 cars at Monaco for these.
There was talk that the Superkarts around Monaco would have similar laptimes to the F1 cars and it wouldn’t make the F1 cars seem as impressive so they wouldn’t allow Superkarts to be a support race (that’s what I heard on the grape vine anyway
Any real motorhead would love to see super karts at Monaco. The f1 race there is a joke and everyone knows it.
@@tedecker3792 there would be a lot more excitement with the Superkarts that’s for sure

Cheers. 😀👍

That race looked really hard on the ass, back, and hands.
It was my first race back in a long time and I actually trained quite hard over winter to prepare physically. However in the race with no assisted steering and the speeds we are pulling (close to F3) it is very hard, especially the hands, forearms and neck!

@@MyRob10 That sounds incredible! As if regular 250s aren’t quick enough! A collab would be amazing. Let’s keep in contact 👍
Danke für die geile Mitfährt👍💪
The wheel bearings must be getting a thrashing considering the lack of suspension and the tiny wheel diameter. The rpm must be 10 times a full size car wheel.
The Chassis has huge flexibility and the low tyre pressures all contribute to some kind of agility when going over bumps! But yes your 100% right it’s a back breaker over bumps
Looks like a fun track. Also the stability of the camera is crazy with the kart shaking like that.

They're quite physically demanding, and go like stink.
Fun 🙂
I am thinking about doing a video on the channel like ‘how to get into Superkarting’, from the comments I think a lot of people would find it useful!
Good idea, Rob 👍
I started in a 100cc NGB, then made the quantum leap to 250 Inter.
