Oh dear god.. there was some online game I played like this a few years back, where someone in your group was the "monster" and would hunt the rest of you and your friends down.. but you didn't know who the killer was, and as the monster started getting close to you, the background music would get louder and louder. And I only remember that game because there was a mod where instead of the typical horror ambiance, it was "Barbie Girl" that got louder and louder as you neared your doom instead. >_> Shit what was that game..
Closest thing I know is a game called Silhouette. It doesn't exactly fit your description but is still a pretty decent horror game.

I believe he posted it as #1 because it is the first "Dead By Daylight" that he has posted on HIS channel. Sometimes youtubers collaborate with others but often don't record the session but someone else does, such as Bob, Jack, and Wade. The reason for him not recording episodes could be because of computer issues.

At this point, I'd be happy with him revisiting it even once. The game has improved a lot and has so many horror icons in it now. I just want to see Marks reaction to the characters from Resident Evil and Left 4 Dead mainly, but really I want to see his reaction to it all. You can only dream.

I really wish Mark would play more of this game, but I understand if he doesn't continue (in fact many people don't) because there's so much grinding to do in public matches, even to get basic perks on more than one character.
That said, it's always nice to watch Mark playing horror games with friends and having fun. I do wonder what hilarious chaos would be unleashed if Mark, Jack, Bob and Wade go Survive With Friends in public matches
