Jack, in case you play the game again, I have some advice. as survivor: you can heal your teammates of they're hurt, and your teammates can do the same for you. look In chests around the map to get one of the four following items: flashlight(which blinds the killer if he is holding a teammate), med kit(which allows you to heal yourself, and heals teammates faster), toolbox(allows you to remove any hooks that are not I the basement, and repairs generators faster), and a map(allows you to see generators through walls). if you're the last one alive, a hatch will open, and you can escape without turning on power. don't struggle if you're on a hook, you only have a 10% chance of escaping, and if you don't escape after trying, it speeds up the death process. as killer: all three killers can run faster than all the survivors(unless they have the sprint perk), so don't give up chasing someone just because they're far away. hope this helps.

Jack, If you guys are going to play this again, Here are some Wraith and basic killer tips :
-the wraiths invisibility is meant to be used to roam,so as soon as you feel like you're getting close (Like really close), start uncloaking.
-If you're chasing someone and you see a window or a barricade, start running from an empty so you can catch up to the survivor.
-If you didn't notice, there is no heartbeat when you're invisible, so use that to your advantage.
-As the wraith, while you are invisible, you can be seen if you walk too close to a lamp or any other light source, remember that one, it's pretty important
-You can get a perk for the wraith which allows you to uncloack almost instantly, so you should play some off-cam
-If someone hides in a cabinet/locker, you can: A. Hear fast breathing if the chase was on when he went in there, or B. You can see a puddle of blood at the bottom of the cabinet/locker.
-If you think someone *RAN* nearby, check for red scratch marks on the ground and objects. You can follow a survivor that way if he ran there around 6 seconds ago.

I hate those team mates that wait till their finished their generator before helping u and instead of unhooking u, they escape
but this is a high risk play, instead someone could finish a generator while the other try to bait the killer in order for the hooked person to be unhooked. This could be simplified further with Bond and BT.
with this tactic your team can be more efficient.

@@flyinglack yeah if i'm on a gen and it's near completion I will work on getting that done before going to help a hooked survivor. I find it better cause most of the time I go back after rescuing and healing only to find the killer has damaged it and most progress has been lost.
Imagine creeping through some woods, it's insanely difficult to confirm your surroundings, and you have no clue where the thing you're running from is, or even what it is.
You turn the corner, praying as hard as you can that whoever it is, whatever it is, chasing you isn't nearby.
Trembling at the thought that any breath could be your last, any action could lead to death, or escape, but at this point, there doesn't seem to be any escape, you look around, and hear, rather loudly, "Who's this I'm following?"

Jack, since you're new to this game you have to know some core survivor mechanics to survive: the survivor is slightly slower than the monster but the monster is slow in terms of vaulting and getting past blockages, use the windows and other low walls to vault and use blockages on the side of narrow places that you can pull to obstruct the monsters path. you can also hide in cupboards across the map but i do not recommend this if you are bleeding or discovered as most killers then check the cupboard and the blood can also be tracked in the monsters inherated vision to get a somewhat accurate trail, instead run and use the vaulting and blockages to get away then hide in the grass preferably behind a tree or a boulder in order to escape. now something important about fixing generators, if you are unable to complete or miss the quick time events while fixing the generator the monster can see that the you are fixing the generator, in this case run and hide and use the above escape techniques, also if you fix the generator completely the killer can also see that so do the same after. team effort is key and crucial in order to increase your chances for survival by a shit ton infact stick together and you can use your friends as bait if the monster finds you, between a generator and a hooked friend or even an escape always choose the friend unless the killer's found you and make sure the killer is not around when you are on the rescue, many of them stick around to ambush the incoming help so be careful and stick around until he walks away. the removing animation is very quick so you just need to do that and get the hell out because the killer can see that oh and you can also remove hooked friends, they aren't dead yet. try to heal friends and you will be succesful.....most of the time. also try to find the hatch, sometime during the match the hatch unlocks itself alowing a direct escape, the bad news is it is always in a random position on the map so if you find it, try to use it as the killer doesn't know this escape route but the standard escape routes. never taunt the killer or you'll end up dead most likely. and when the killer picks you up wiggle the entire time and if hooked DO NOT, AND I MEAN DO NOT TRY TO ESCAPE. STRUGGLE BUT DON'T ESCAPE, let your friends do that since you literally have 1% chance of escape and you just speed up the process of the sacrifice.LAST THING: be carefull of monster abilites like the trappers bear traps or the wraiths invisiblity, they give them a great advantage so always be on the lookout and if you hear the chainsaw of the hilbily monster then hide or stay hidden. he's nearby. THAT'S ALL AND GOOD LUCK!
also when hidden start yelling as if you think you can see him and he is close like"oh shit, he's here ruuuuuuun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" to keep the monster in that area but this only works with friends and not random servers since you can't talk to them.

Yeah, because there's nothing better than giving away your position by yelling "WHY DOES THE ESCAPE TAKE SO LONG?!" Good job Jack, really smart.
It was kinda obvious that's what he'd be doing, though.. if I recall once all the generators are done, the exit locations briefly show up for the killer (like how a generator that just exploded does). Although it still wouldn't have given his exact location away, there's usually more than 1 exit.
I love how instead of treating it as a 1 v 3 game, they treat it like a 1 v 1 v 1 v 1 😂
