Thank you for actually demonstrating the pedal instead of having a looper, drum machine, and three other pedals going! Great job, and loving the versatile sounds from the Atmosphere!
Some of those reverb settings sound better than similar on pedals costing twice as much. And the layout on the Joyo looks simpler. No digital programming to negotiate your way through! Great demo, Brett.
This proves that just because some gear is not expensive , it doesn’t mean it’s not really good. I’m not a Joyo fan, but from time to time they come out with good gear. Seems they’re really upping their game . I bought a NUX Rocktary, because it sounds great . It’s another company that creates good products at low prices . Brett .. please do a review on the Roctary . Besides holding its ground against other expensive Leslie pedals , they throw in some features that are pretty interesting. The only Leslie pedal that it doesn’t equal is the great Neo Vent ..
I finally decided on this for my "lead" board... after thinking of a Matthews Effects Astronomer/Cosmonaut or Foxgear Rainbow. I had my eye on this before for separate boards but was wanting stereo. This, however, is a good improvement over my TC Skysurfer which is just meh decent.
Awesome pedal, I have the Oceans 11 and have to say this one from Joyo appears to be giving it a run for its money. Great playing Brett ! Liking those Artist guitars, great prices too 👍🏻
Bravo on a very useful demo. It was perfect! I need a good reverb pedal to add to my modest pedalboard. I might have just found it! Also made me realize how badly I need a Strat instead of my Epi Les Paul.
And I have been looking the internet over for a decent review of the Joyo gembox 3. It would be awesome if you could do that for the world. Thanks. And love love love your work.
Cheers, Davey. I'm at the mercy of the manufacturer in these situations: If JOYO want to send me those products, I will gladly demo them for you. Thanks for your support and kind words.
@@bernardfoshage9901 I think it has own character differentiable from hall mode. so i can't tell church mode can replace hall mode, but yeah, it is also similar at some point (e.g 'mod' knob at 0)
I think the Joyo Atmosphere might be the new Digitech Supernatural, in that it costs 70-90 $/£ but is still a great ambient reverb. Has similar modes to the Supernatrual. For just over 100 bucks you could get one of these and a Caline Snakebite CP26 (also killer and only about $/£30, and I doubt you would need another reverb for ambient stuff
@@MrSpeed-lt8gr This Joyo..easier layout and much easier to see the name of reverb type. I have 1 of these coming in the next few days, and had the Oceans 11 when it first came out..sounded really.
CentaurusRelax314 I was speaking generally about pedal design: I don’t want/need a bunch of cosmetic features and blinking lights. Make it do what it says on the tin and make sure it’s rugged and quiet. It was a pretty straight forward comment.
softlightsymphony band It wasn’t written as “straightforward” as you may have intended. There’s an implication that this pedal somehow makes a compromise, giving you “the light show” *instead of* sturdiness and noisiness. I asked for a clarification-if you had a reason to believe it wasn’t *already* sturdy and noise free, and noted that you could disable “the light show” if you found it distracting or distasteful. Not sure what bothers you about my reply/question.

it's very obvious that he has the experience to know exactly what, and how to showcase what every setting has to offer
This is how to do a quick introduction to a pedal. The Atmosphere is amazing.
Well done, you actually understand how to use the different styles to highlight each reverb type. 👍

Brett you are my favorite gear reviewer hands down. Love to hear you play any style.
beatiful sound
Great playing as usual Brett! I ordered mine today and thanks to your demo I am convinced this is a real gem!

I remember turning my nose up at a Joyo pedal a few years back. Should have given it a chance.
Now you can buy them. They used to be so ugly. Now they are beautiful. I can't comment about the sound. I haven't played them.
Nice demo.
I just got mine and I love it. If it was stereo it would replace my HOF2.
Cara, você toca demais, parabens
O pedal é muito bom, ainda mais com uma ótima execução na guitarra como a sua. Muito bom!

A John Martyn vibe at 3.21. Excellent review as always. All content, no ego.

Чувак красавчик !!!! Фигачит на гитаре так легко , как будто с ней родился . Респект бесконечный .
it's on my cart already.
Great value for money pedal. The R Series are tops!
muy buena la demostración, que gusto escucharte.
Having this in reverse mode, run into my Catalinbread Belle Epoch will sound amazimg
Wow! Great value for money pedal, it sounds very nice!
Do a demo of the preamp house Brett. Please
The Comet setting is flanged. Sounds like that setting on the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Procession. Pulse setting sounds like that pedal too.

You need both .. Seriously

A Les Paul with coil taps or splits can get a lot of that Strat sound , but I do have all three plus others for a reason .
that's the right way to demo a pedal..

insane features, awesome tones question is...is it quiet? Thanks for the demo.
i've been using atmosphere. it's noiseless. The only thing regrettable thing for the price is no hall mode.

Nice job as always Brett & great sounding reverb .. I was looking at this pedal recently as I just got a Origin 20 head & its got no onboard reverb.
You are a superb guitarist Brett - do you like the "Atmosphere reverb Brett?
Thank you. Yes, the Atmosphere is good fun.
Hello! What is the trail switch for?
Very good demo Brett and hope you are well. Ended up buying this unit based on your demo. What brand guitar are you playing in this video?
This success like a really b versatile pedal. Thanks Brett
Is ‘rewind’ reverse reverb?
That's a good assumption. Maybe it means reverse tape echo?
It has some swell to it but it's not a reverse reverb.
90$ - instant sale.
This or the Oceans 11?
I think sound quality they are comparable.

I could do without the light show: make it sturdy and noise free. That’s all I need.
You can turn the lights off.
Has anyone indicated it's not (also) sturdy or noise free?

Maybe play something that matches the delay tones. Instead of more pentatonic crap
