I like this channel because he’s honest and gives good advice. I don’t like the channels that show someone just planting lots of plants that most people can’t afford that many at once. Some are just trying to sell you things from their sponsors.
I am a huge fan of coleus for that reason. They are so cheap and easy to propagate that you can actually put a bunch in a pot and they do so well. I have about 100 coleus plants in my yard now that I grew from cuttings from 12 original plants.
Thank you, Corey. I love seeing your experiments and the trials done by others because they give more realistic results about what a homeowner, on a budget, can expect in their gardens. I hope you and Liam are having a wonderful Thanksgiving. ~Margie🤗🦃
I love trials... please do more trial content. Chicago trials are great for us midwestern folks, especially on shrubs and perennials. Also videos about the different cultivars, classic and newbies and award winners. And of course tours of gardens would be awesome as well. Thanks so much.
I appreciate that you shared this, however I feel like you’ve taught me over the years how this works. I seen you pack em in and I’ve seen you go basic with three and shared the results. You’re an excellent teacher 😊
My coleus are almost out of control they grew so large! They look absolutely beautiful in mass planting and it seems to me that when there is a bunch of them in a pot they kind of prop each other up when growing together, and they choke each other like sweet potato vines do. I wish there was a way I would show you pictures. I have them in 22 inch pots and they are literally tipping the pot over because they are so big.
I love to watch your videos. I live by Grand Rapids and wonder where you’re at. Been a gardener for years but with the new varieties I’ve become excited. I have not packed my pots like I see others do only because I like having room for their roots.

Great information. Thank you
I thought your trip seeing the fertilizer was SO amazingly how much the type of fertilizer mattered.
Thank you so much for such good information! It is “actionable” for everyone! I appreciate your approach to gardening! ❤
Thank you! That is surprising in a good way!
Very interesting and somewhat surprising!!!! Thanks for sharing this info!

Completely agree with the impatiens. 3 beacons blended together is one of my favorite looks. Sold lots of Beacon and XTreme in 2024.
Wow! What. Great informative study! Very interesting. Thank you
It was very helpful to see the comparison photos at two different timeframes.
Thanks so much Corey. It validates what you’ve said all along!😁. Happy Thanksgiving! Zone3 Manitoba 🇨🇦👏❄️
Thanks again for another interesting and informative video. I have learned so much watching your content. Have a great Thanksgiving weekend!! 🦃🦃🦃

My parents are in Posen, near Alpena -- I live in the UP in Marquette County.
Loved this info Corey, thx!
Thank you! So informative.
Neat comparisons. To me the answer is clear...go with 4 plants in that size container.
*Wondering if Corey will do a comparison growth chart with his own plants 🤔*
Wax begonias we call JUNK Plants.....Looks like FOUR plants is the best choice. Really want to see the fertilizer trials!
