Dumfries - Robert Burns Mausoleum and Church Graveyard

The weirdest graveyard I have ever been in. Most of the stones were twice my height or more and they were crammed in so that you had to walk and climb over graves to read the inscriptions on many of the stones.
It is also where Robert Burns was buried twice. Once in a small corner plot and then again when he was moved to the white mausoleum. Well worth a visit if in the area and you can over night in one of the car parks in Dumfries
