A courtship of rivals is the only documentary worth watching about larry and magics rivalry. Magic and bird saved the nba neither could have done it on their own.
Courtship of Rivals is the best documentary out there! Most reactors break it down into 2 or 3 parts. You learn a lot! It was Bird and Magic that saved the NBA.... not 1 or the other ...both!
If you want a deeper dive on these 2, I highly recommend the HBO documentary Magic and Bird A Courtship of Rivals. It's truly an amazing story and a very well done film. The best documentary I've ever seen.
larry birds MVP results rookie year he finished 4Th next 3 years he finished 2nd the the next 3 years he finished 1st then the next 2 years he finished 3rd and then 2nd in 1989 he only played 6 games out all year. 1n the 1980s Larry had 68.5 % of all MVP votes
Bird hurt his back building the driveway at his mother's house. You really need to watch courtship of rivals. It will really make. A big difference for you to really understand bird and magic and how their relationship and career developed. Bird was devastated when magic got hiv. His father committed suicide by shooting himself and for bird to compare magics hiv to the death of his father was monumental. Please watch it you will have a deeper respect for magic and bird.
@@Sunny-jz3dy And the reason he graduated from Indiana State was because of the promise he made to his mother. His mother told him that if Larry was to go back to college, he would finish and graduate or that the couple of months she didn't talk to him after dropping out of IU would be nothing.
Larry Bird was tough, he got injured quite a few times during his career, his back was the most important one. There are plenty of vids that showcase just how tough, both physically and mentally, Larry Bird was when he played
Love my bird 🐦💚, but you could help but like magic , they both were unreal and the whole world (kids were trying to shoot like bird 🐦 or pass like magic ,,we wanted to watch them it was everything, miss this bball 🏀,
Bird said if he was buddies with Magic it would change the way he played against him. His responsibility was to his team. He always had great respect for Magic. React to the 5 times Larry Bird was injured but refused to quit and the 4 times Bird was hurt but showed male toughness. They'll blow your mind. He injured his back building his mom's driveway not chopping wood. This happened in 85.
Also this video is a shortened version and not very good one either this guy talking is skimming over way to much and to fast also like he is in a hurry. the real one is the (Courtship of rivals the story of larry Bird and Majic Johnson) it is a 1 1/2 hour approximently long need to do it in 3 segments,,You have Larry and Magic talking along with sports people of that era. It is an outstanding video and goes over about 3 times more then this one is
Yo yo yo yo……If it wasn’t for Larry and Magic, there would be no NBA to speak of. These two men are almost identical except for the difference each reacted to the “public aspect of personal life” Magic WAS Hollywood in the limelight, Bird stayed Bird and kept to himself and protected his real life and fam. Once they let themselves chill together by themselves doing their first commercial, they found out everything else about them was the same. They became such great friends, I’d go so far as soul mate honestly. My two fav players. Larry is my G.O.A.T. Because there is no way to compare the top 5 in my list as Larry’s strengths are completely opposite of the others, his was only A small part physical, but his B-ball IQ,court vision and lightning quick decision making to make it to top with MJ, Magic,Kobe and ‘Nique. So they have no equal starting point or common skill to measure . So it comes down to personal preference and what type of game you personally prefer. To me, my top 5 all kinda share top spot, the only true G.O.A.T. s in my opinion, and I know imma girl but if I discussed and broke down these players games, you’d see I know much. 🏀

courtship of rivals please!!!
Magic and Bird "Courtship of Rivals" is a good, but long documentary you could react to.
Not hard if he broke it down into 2 or 3 parts which is what most reactors do anyway.
React to Courtship Of Rivals. It's a long documentary, but you can divide it into 4 parts. Greatest sports documentary ever produced.
As others have said, "A Courtship of Rivals" is the best!
It,was the 2 of them. Not just, Magic.

I was soooo confused because I thought you mashed the video into only 15 minutes.... Please react to the full documentary everyone below suggests!
In many cases, a kid going to college was the first in family history. And if the kid dropped out, yes, that kid was looked down upon.
True but Larry Bird did go to college.... he just went to a different 1 ....a smaller school where he was more comfortable
