I think a wooden chicken ramp would be a nice addiction to the new coop.
The mobile coop is still a work in process, I think Jason will put in an automatic door and ramp like they had in the chicken palace at the old place. They just need to get a round tuit, I send him one but all mine were defective so they were set back and are not round anymore.
I agree with you and I am sure its on Jason to do Chicken list! 😊
The. Overhead door metal and wood would be great for the ramp

I knew all your babies would love The new CogHill 40. Nugget, Peaches, the goats, all the feathers, the pigs and the pups are all so happy. I love seeing the smiles on Brooke and MaryCarl’s face. It’s beautiful! The new Call Ducks are going to fit in just fine. So glad to see this video! 💖💖💖

We lived in our camper for 3 years getting ready to buy our farm. It was messy, but worth it.

Loved the chore tour!! Thank you for doing that! If it was me I use the hog shelter frame and make a little green house to put over in ground beds to give a head start to spring plants!! Love y’all!

Hi everybody. I love your channel and watching you'all. I live in MI have a lot of friends who are farmers and campers. They have large farms and do a lot of hunting with a campers like yours. I had about 8 acres but only had horses. After my children grew up , I sold my little farm. I miss it greatly. However, I wish to tell you a couple ideas we did. Straw was stored around the coops, and if on wheels the straw helps cold and wind out and the heat in. Also blocks were put under to keep the tires from sinking into the dirt. Straw was stored under the campers ( to keep the floors warm, during hunting seasons. (Just a few of things I have learned.) Frostless faucets were installed the barns, not only for the animals, but washing our animals, and cleaning equipment, etc.

Add taller t posts at the shelter openings and in the middle I would add 2 to posts with plastic bottles or small buckets to protect the material from tearing. I do that with shade screen on my vegetables in July and August. Works great.
I could live like that forever! I have been trying to talk my husband and son into putting our place up for sale and down sizing "stuff" and moving further out to the country.
This made my month! I love it when you show us the animals and feeding them. It amazes me that Marycarl knows all those animals names! They all really do look happy. Would peaches like to meet the other pigs?
First I hope no one is here to worry about or inspect your home. If they are they need to leave.
You've done so much in such a short time, I can't imagine how beautiful the CogHill 40 will be in the future.
With that said what are your immediate projects? Other than your new home, of course.
You survived the big move. Everyone is happy & healthy & relaxed in their new homes. Now you can work on things more at your leisure. No more rushing, or timelines to meet.

Time for perennials---tulip bulbs, and liatris. Also, wildflower seeds can definitely be planted now for spring in your area.

looks like you need several loads of stone around the trailer and on the road. fall and winter and spring rains are coming. need a cover where you change from muddy shoes / boots before you go in the trailer. need a ramp or an intermediate platform for the chickens to go in and out.

Try a center post. And or also make one side of the tarp higher than the rest so it always drains rain and snow

It's going well. The greenstalk planters could use 3 tposts to surround each of them, as this area is not as sheltered as your old place was and it has been known for them to be blown over. Using 3 very close into each of the planters will give them no route to fall over, and it won't be costing the earth to secure them. Be well.
