- In today's video, you will learn to sew your own handmade bag perfect for walking your dog and storing doggy bags. This bag includes a grommet at the front allowing you to easily pull bags in and out while out. With a second pocket, you can also store your phone or anything else you'd like to take on your walk. Love this tutorial! The one thing I think that would make it a little easier for everyone would be to cut the bonded fabric a bit smaller, maybe ¼” or so around to make it easier for sewing and bulkiness. Just a thought. This is a fabulous little bag! My daughter will love it! Thank you so much for sharing!

Made this bag again. If you decide to make this pouch. I would Highly recommend putting the grommet & snap before you sew both ends. It's almost impossible to do it with both sides sewn. I love this bag and making them for Christmas stocking stuffers for my family who have dogs. I really wanted to master this project which I did tweaks the instructions for myself.
Would you say this is beginner friendly? This is the cutest bag ever!
I finally got the right size grommets. I followed this entire video until the end when you switched to a “zipper” vs a regular zipper. I also had to go back and add the lining that got forgotten by the facilitator during the tutorial. I was so disappointed. But I did prevail. Although I had no idea how to use a zipper tape; I just wanted a magnetic snap which worked great.

ow cute! what an idea to have that whole for doggie bag! I always have issues about carrying "stuff" like $, keys, doggie bags, ID, inhaler when I don't have pockets, so I'm considering this instead of fanny bag I carry.

hi! Beginner here. Loved this tutorial. Watched through first, now figuring out my fabric. How much of the doggie fabric did you use in total? I calculated about 1 yd? Also what is the texture of the dark gray fabric called?

using a regular zipper does not work the same way for the top part of bag as shown in the video. I had to do some seam ripping and modifying to make it work. Yes trimming down the stabalizer so not so bulking would help. Made one and it turned out ok.
Do you have a downloadable pattern?
I can’t figure out how to put the top zipper on,cause I don’t have your kind of zipper, I have a regular one, I took off the pull like you did but for the life of me the zipper pull would not go on. I’m so disappointed…🙁
