- Filmpje uit de oude doosch. Voorjaar 2012 kwam ik deze dikke combi tegen in de buurt van Hoogstraten, Belgie. Helaas weet niet van wie deze trekker is, maar mocht iemand het toevallig weten laat het achter in de comments! Wie weet kan ik nog een keer terug om uitgebreid een nieuwe film te maken van deze prachtige brul beer ;-)

Hallo, deze combi is van varkenshouder Benny Verheyen uit Meer (BE).
Helaas, de Joskin is verdwenen, de 1455 hebben ze nog wel. Nu voeren ze mest aan met een Case IH Puma 230 en Peecon euroline 26000.

He drive very crazy , and his lower links are very deep so they nearly touch the earth
Matthias Benz I agree he's driving a bit fast, probably for the camera. As for the linkage arms, that's the best place for them so they don't snag on the drawbar or PTO shaft, avoiding costly damage.
Matthias Benz even if those lower arms are down, it wont cause damage to them very easily. and as the previous commenter says, those arms wont hit the drawbar.
Maybe he was driving crazy to help mix up the slurry?
Personally I wouldn't want to have an accident while towing a big tanker of liquid slurry, i.e. manure.

The smells are the worst thing about working in agriculture. Manures and slurries aren't the worst ones, though. Biogas digestate is the worst actual substance, but the worst smell is eutrophicated decay that suddenly goes aerobic when you open a container.

Der Fahrer kennt auch keine Blinker und viel zu schnell, der Küsst noch einen Baum wenn er so weiter macht 😤
Dachte mir auch teilweise entweder steht bald ein Baum im weg oder er legt das Gespann sauber auf die Seite...

You know if you just bought a Big Big you wouldn't have to kneel with the camera to make the tractor look bigger lol :) :)
It's a crazy
Some people just love their slurry served up quite simply on top of everything. Others enjoy the complexities of modern injection via a 1.2 Km umbilicus. Injection must be fraught with huge maintenence costs and frequent breakdowns, whilst still requiring many trips by semi-trailer slurry tankers to feed the thirsty umbilicus. Seems to my simple mind that surface slurry-casting is easier, cheaper and has less maintenence hassles. Am I missing something here😨?

dav snow it's mostly about greenhouse gasses that are produced when spreading on top of the surface
+J-B Dekker : Ahh!! the dreaded Methane.
One of the main reasons to inject is because the ammonia based nitrogen can evaporate with casting, however as long as the soil is not frozen a significant ammount will still be absorbed. Wide casting in the winter is completely useless. Another reason to cast instead of injection is to preserve the sod.
