The slow life and the joy of saying no is wonderful. Thanks for chatting about Dr C. I’ve started watch to the TH-cam you mentioned and was listening to his podcast on the way to work this morning. After dinner tonight my daughter and I will do a beach walk (feet in the water). Haven’t done this in months and I love it.
So lovely to see you having a lovely quiet calm day. Beautiful projects and your daughter will love the colours you have chosen for her blanket I'm sure 🙂
Thanks, Sarah. Glad you had a good day. The blanket you are crocheting for your daughter looks beautiful already and I love the red shawl you are knitting.
Hi Sarah, so glad you enjoyed your lovely slow day. I remember when the shops were shut on a Sunday and it was a day for family and playing out with friends (am I that old 😂). Now retired I’m lucky to have more time to do my knitting, but I still do not like to go to the shops on a Sunday unless it’s an emergency! Although we have 2 dogs that have a walk morning and late afternoon, I still feel I need to start doing a walk on my own to maintain a good pace (with the dogs it is a bit stop and start….) must try to make an effort, I have no excuses really, apart from grabbing my needles!! 😊😊
💕😀xx thanks Sarah. Yes, I’ve had a VERY stressful year, all of 2024 and continuing ☹️ so really need to change my approach to life. I’ve been rather ill so far this year, so not a very good start. Here’s to a better year 🙏🙏🙏 thanks so much for your lovely podcasts. 🥰
So pleased you enjoyed your day crafting! I really agree with a point you made about losing Sunday as a universal slow day. When I was a child Sunday was the day everyone relaxed and the day was different . I think we have lost that forever to the detriment of people’s well-being. I love the colours for your daughter’s blanket. Funny how we all have the same idea to send our Uni children off with a blanket!
What a beautiful vlog Sarah, watching you have the loveliest of days!!!❤. It was so wonderful to see you doing all your beautiful projects, sitting quietly & enjoying the time that you had. Also, your new water bottle cover looked lovely all finished & sitting proudly on your knee. Wonderful colours you have chosen for your daughter’s blanket, she will love it ❤. Looking forward to seeing your progress on that, as I have seen how stunning all your other blankets are that you have finished 💕. Once again, dinner looked yummy 😋. Cheers till tomorrow, ❤️👏💕🥰🤗😍
Good morning. It is Wednesday here in North Carolina, and it is cold here for this area. Also glad that you had a day for yourself, we all need it at least once in a while. I really like your projects!! The red colour in your shawl is a beautiful red, yes. Everyone viewing, have a peaceful day...
Love the colours for your daughter’s blanket, she will treasure it. I’m walking through the woods today, with my Nordic walking poles, as it’s too icy on the roads with compacted snow. X💕
i just watched a bunch of these to catch up and it was wonderful to spend the time with you :) Thanks for putting so much positive energy out to all of us.
Hi Sarah I watch on the tv so don’t always comment. What a lovely day off you had. Enjoying seeing you tackle January in such a positive way, not my favourite time of year. Love how despite your long busy days you still cook delicious fresh food. A walk in your lunch break is a very good idea. ❤
What a lovely video. I pressed the 'like' button almost immediately but I wished that I could have given more 'likes' throughout the video. Your obvious enjoyment of your slow day was great to see and your happiness and satisfaction at working on all three of your projects was motivational. I think we should all have a slow day especially if it gives us a glow like yours. Love the flowers x♥
What a lovely day you had. So enjoyed watching your vlog. The projects are gorgeous. Looking forward to seeing the progress on your daughters blanket ❤
Just like Helen below, I am in my 70's, so everyday can be a slow and crafting day. It was stunning today after all the grey and I did a 4000+ steps country walk which was wonderful. Your choice of colours for the blanket are lovely and I too am starting a blanket for my grandson. I started listening to the link if Dr Chatterer and just WOW. No wonder you are interested in what he has to say. Such a lot of food for thought and I am only half way through. Thank you so much for sharing and so glad you relaxed and enjoyed your day.x
Hi Susan. Your country walk sounds lovely. Yes I’m blown away by Dr Chatterjee’s and plan to listen to him each day. Hopefully his variety of messages will sink in. Glad you enjoyed it too 😊
Hi Sarah, what a lovely, relaxed day you’ve had. Well done for taking the time just for you as it would be so easy not to have done that. Your projects are all beautiful, I’m sure your daughter will love her blanket, the colours are lovely 😊
What a lovely crafters day you had. I love the blanket colors and what is it about cats and knitting. My girl used to sleep on the arm of my chair when I knitted. She passed on at age 21 years. Thank you for podcasting !
Thank you Sarah for another of your lovely vlogs. I enjoyed your day with you! Whilst you were doing your crafty projects I was out walking with our walking group in the sunshine which was beautiful but had to be careful on the icy patches. All your projects are so beautiful.
