How long should I wait before plugging in my fridge after moving it?

I didn't follow protocol and my frig got very hot and it wasn't cooling so I turned it off immediately. Went to this video and I waited 24 hours before restarting it and it worked like a charm. Thanks.

Another Copy of the same topic. But what if I did not wait long enough? Does the oil get back to the compressor some time later? Should I turn the freezer off and wait? Is there anything I can do at all?

Thanks for the up load. I remembered I had to wait but I had forgot how long. I ended up waiting 8 hours as i had to move in other furniture.
