Don't get me wrong, I've been there, done that and it's awesome but please do this in the wild...there's something so surreal to it.. and for some reason they seem much more active in the wild.... I'd say do it in the Maldives, Teahupoo, off the coast of Isla Mujeres or Cebu Island Phillippines each has their merit ofc.. or even Ningaloo reef...
Did this back in January of this year when visiting my grandparents and other extended family in Georgia other than it being cold it was an incredible experience probably something I will do again despite the expensive price tag as a Georgia native it’s cool to say I have something like this in my home state and city the Georgia Aquarium is so much better than the aquarium I have here in Denver that’s old tiny and dirty but overall it’s been one of my favorite diving experiences so far other than night diving in roatan Honduras

Yes the tickets were pretty expensive that's for each person 😅 they record all the videos for you with pretty high quality but it costs about $100 extra to get it
Do you know if there is an age limit or weight limit I want to go swim with the whale sharks also do they noticed your in the pool do They ever get close To You like face to face
I don't think there is any weight limits but you must be 12 years or older to swim with the whale sharks. Haha yes they get very close to you but still never touched us
@@bethkelley-austin6658 no problem! Yea it definitely is nerve-racking at first but after you go in and realize most of the animals want nothing to do with humans it's a much more relaxing experience haha it's way safer to do it in here than the wild 😂
I live in the florida keys and I commercial dive and fish, I'm coming to Atlanta in January and wanted to do this, I'd be so tempted to interact with the whale shark and touch it I have yet to see one here in Key West but many of my friends have swam and shot Cobia off them pretty cool experience. Seems like they take the mask law serious too nobody wears them in Florida but it must be the law in Georgia ?? Great video
Awesome you should definitely do it if you get the chance! Just be sure to book far in advance since it sells out quickly. Mask rules might have changed by now, so I would double check on that

Ha yes you get a life vest so basically just floating and the current slowly moves you

Ha they did record the video but I cut it into parts and made it into my own video after. Definitely worth the buy 😎

No your own equipment is not allowed unfortunately. Pretty much they record everything so you can buy it from them

Yes they swam right next to us!! But no they tell you not to touch them though
@eclecticemissary once I'm in the water I can just do what ever I want. I can swim up to the shark and grab its dorsal fin
Then they'll throw you out. Those rules are for a reason, if everyone just did what they felt like the animals would be stressed out and get sick.

Ha there are but they are very small and they stayed at the bottom very far away from us
