@@ErnestAutist because of rationing and widespread poverty the sausages available to most households during and after WWII were very low quality and were often plumped up with extra water, causing a build up of pressure under the skins while cooking in a frying pan, hence they would sometimes make a banging noise.
You'd be hard pressed to find sausages that shit nowadays.
Fried tomatoes, baked beans and black pudding are all delicious as well.

PLEASE do a video on the history, rise, and fall of the milkman job. I am really curious about a job and service that was very common in the USA in a previous era, which has almost* completely disappeared.

I work a regular job 15 hours a week but my farm is profitable and while stressful there is nothing more satisfying to me than having a diverse chicken heard (multiple breeds, 50 of them are endangered, the rarest only has 400 chickens left on earth and i have 43!). Collecting those eggs, from chickens that i raised that are in a lot of cases already 10 years old (most die in the first 2 years, but a lot of them are seemingly ageless, the ones that die are mostly the new breeds the old 19th century breeds are very healthy!).
