Eric is a good chess player and its clear that he knows his stuff. But when it comes to Stafford Gambit he becomes a chess GOD, an omniscient and omnipotent being with a level of understanding of the positions that breaks the quantum continuum

For everyone here that needs it, here is all you need to know to get a winning position against the Stafford every time, just a 10 moves forced line to get down so you can continue learning your Ruy Lopez, Italian or Scotch safely.
    7. Bg5 is a mistake, I suggest to improve on this game with 7. c3! Intending d4. 7… Ng4 8. d4! …Qh4 is met by the calm 9. g3 …Qf6 10. Bf3 and Black is busted: the bishop is attacked and after White plays h3 the Knight will have to go to h6. White is just up a central pawn with the better structure and an imposing center

Eric even if my chess mentor freak out every time I ask him to teach me some dubious gambits, I just can't stop watching and trying to learn yours. If I play a squared Sicilian or French defense, the winning sensation is not the same, my favourites for black are obviously Stafford and Englund. My teacher lichess nick is NM Ferdinando and he believes it's impossible to lose against your Stafford gambit, I would like to see he being defeated 😂

I’m new to chess, I’m only a 900 so tell me if I’m hugely wrong, @ 2:54 instead of going G3 wouldn’t it be better to move your knight to C4 to hit the queen and bishop? Then you don’t have two pawns on the same row?

At 2:56, is Qb6 a good move? Threatens to take the pawn on e3 and white has no way of defending it in time?
Edit: I see white could drop the knight back to f1 to defend, but then he can’t castle
