One of the biggest surprises for me with this group is literally seeing how Yedam turns into the biggest maknae to ever maknae around the members and the way Jongwoo encourages it like nothing else. Thank you for reacting! ONE PACT have quickly shot up my faves list, especially after my first-ever fan call the other day. They were so fun to talk to and it was all in English! Jongwoo took my breath away at how handsome he was in the camera, Yedam had the biggest smile the whole time, Tag likes parties (cuz I told him it would be a party if he came to Vegas), had a bunch of laughs with Seongmin (he could totally pull off a BL hehe) & Jay told me his favorite Filipino dish is sinigang!!! I told Tag my favorite song on the album is “RUSH IN 2 U” and he said that it was the hardest song to do cuz it took a long time. He also told me his favorite song is “Illusion”. PLEASE REACT TO THE WHOLE ALBUM - it truly is NO skip! Tag is a producing beast and Jongwoo truly picked a perfect group. I’m so proud to be an &heart!
Jongwoonsaid jay got a letter from ‘someone’ but at the end chose jongwoo and the boys and that jay was the last person to join onepact. Fans are guessing jay got another company trying to debut him but he ended choosing one pact

I feel like Jay is Zeus, since there was a lot of lighting shots during that gun scene. And I beleive the black feather and crow represents death thus Tag is Hades. In one version of the Orpheus story, Zeus strikes Orpheus down with lightning so he would die and not reveal the truth of the underworld. So I'm thinking maybe that gun scene was their own artistic ver. to that. And they shot Hades since Orpheus broke his deal with him and looked back at Eurydice thus losing her forever. So overall the MV follows inside the destructive mind of a person who loves someone that is selfish, with symbolic reference to the myth story. And the connection between the two is that once Orpheus did something outside what the person he loves wants, he ended up losing her. Which can happen as well when you love someone selfish.
Jongwoo just answer the question trough fancall. for Rush in 2U, Jay is actually the last person who join ONE PACT because he still has his Contract with FM.. And other agency tried to cast Jay too (the letter) he was a bit confused that time.. So the members were tried to convincing him to come to them and join one pact..

One Pact is now my fave post bp group with ZB1 like that's my 5th gen self produced group. Jongwoo had the freedom to choose his teammates, tag has the freedom to produce their songs. I love them so much

What I find an interesting little thing is that sometimes when they say 좋겠다 (must be nice/sounds wondeful) it sounds like 죽겠다 (which means 'I'm dying') Edit: also for a little theory (as a literature student who's obsessed with mythology) - ravens are symbols not only of the underworld, but also of Athena. So Jay shooting Tag, who looks like a raven, could symbolise shooting/killing their own wisdom and/or fighting against death - which would be a cool tie in with the similarities between 좋겠다 and 죽겠다.
I already made a thousand theories in my head about de MV. Like tag is probably Hades/death, jay is trying to get someone back, maybe JW, since he doesn't seem bruised, and he's alone trying to call someone, and can't do it. Yedam seems to trying to stop jay, by puching him, but after that jay was able to shoot tag/the crow. I don't know about seungmin... I'm going insane, I sweeeear! Also the connection of jay trying to "save" jongwoo makes me think about the letter in Rush 2u, when jay dropped the letter and jw find in the end, but he's alone. Send help, please
OMG RJ I totally agree with you! My maternal instinct also kicks in when I see Yedam, when he started running I started to get emotional. But the Haechan voice, I totally hear that in regards to Yedam now as well. Also, Tag being part of this group is the best thing they could have done, he has so much talented that won't be wasted in this group!
I was so impressed with their debutation, it feels so new in this 5th gen world. The only thing I got from the MV is that Tag fell out of the painting and he's a mythical being that can shape shift between human and bird form. I guess Yedam and Jay are fighting each other to stop something, Jay is also a part time sniper, seongmin is an arsonist, and jongwoo is on hold with his cable service. /j

Also, we don't really know if they will carry this concept, BUT for this video most of the theories online think that they are each portraying a different figure from Greek Mythology and the story of Orpheus. There are different theories but I think the most agreed upon is that Jongwoo is Orpheus, and I saw one that theorized his solo parts have a deeper meaning and basically tell the tale of Orpheus before and after he lost Eurydice forever. Also, the pineapples are a reference to the movie "Chungking Express" where a man buys 30 cans of pineapple and decides that if his girlfriend who broke up with him on April Fools does not return before they expire, then that means the relationship is lost forever. She doesn't return and he eats all the cans.
To me, One Pact is bringing back and representing some of the best parts of third gen. The overall vibes and choreo of Exo, the self-production of old school BTS- think back to Paradise, House of Cards, Coffee, Autumn Leaves… need I go on? I am so into One Pact, they will be a problem for me….

I thought the feathers were because they were representing crows and because there were crows in the video. I thought it would be like a pack animal thing where every comeback they're different animals, but it's one pact and not one pack so I don't know. Crows are usually a sign of death or misfortune. They are also known to steal so it could be representing the other person in the relationship taking a lot from them and being bad for them and that they have bad luck in this relationship. And it could tie into the story at the beginning since they're a ending from Hades, but there's misfortune since Orpheus looks back because he cares a lot and wants to make sure she's still with him and isn't getting tricked. I think Icarus works too though because the relationship is burning then but they're continuing it anyways because they love the other person so much.
But now armada is about to send Jay or yedam, most likely Jay on another survival show , called mnet Build up to compete with other main vocalist from different groups. To form a. Four member vocal group. Ace, pentagon,cix a group called knk. Are sending their vocalist.

Somehow I missed the music video, and y'all... I was hyped by the song and by their music show performances! Yedam and Jongwoo especially were eating it up, and I'm so glad the group exists. But then to watch this reaction and see the music video closely for the first time.... It sucks being Black and enjoying K-Pop sometimes. Somehow I missed the music video, and y'all... I was hyped by the song and by their music show performances! Yedam and Jongwoo especially were eating it up, and I'm so glad the group exists. But then to watch this reaction and see the music video closely for the first time.... It sucks being Black and enjoying K-Pop sometimes. It's hard to keep giving groups the benefit of the doubt at this point... We all make mistakes, but yikes 😬
