Dimash had lunch with David Foster and Walter Afanasieff at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge last year. No one knows what he was there for and it may have been just to pick Davids brain for information for the dissertation for his PhD. Dimash and Walter have been working on a song since before the pandemic, it's apparently been completed but it's a very special song and I suspect they're waiting for a special vehicle for it. Dimash was very busy during his time in LA, he wrote 5 new songs collaborating with a young songwriting team, recording a song for a new Chinese award show, like a cross between the Oscars and the Emmys and also recording the OST for the new Jackie Chan movie.
@@Esjaetv When I've Got You and Smoke were two of the songs which he's already released, I can't remember the name of the song but the Award show was The Golden Panda Awards and the OST has just been released on TH-cam and Spotify as an audio track only and it's called This Love, it's stunningly beautiful. Nathan Wang who composed it also wrote the other Jackie Chan OST which Dimash did, it's called Be Happy for the movie Vanguard, Dimash performed it live for the first time ever at his 30th birthday concert in Istanbul in May this year.

So perfect to sing a song with such tender heart-felt emotions--the entire production, lyrics, violins, so exquisite, and absolutely spectacular to see an angel in light behind him at the end.
