Dimash sang this song many times after this performance as well. But honestly, some things just don’t get any better. I think this is epic. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen the video and every, really every time my heart starts to race and I get goosebumps. That facial expression after singing the high notes. Wow, what a beast he can be. He then completely captivates me🫣. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. In my opinion, Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅. Sadly, my best friend passed away, but he was in the National Touring company of Jesus Christ Superstar. He was Jesus (the best singer of all of them, including Neely from the movie). When they played D.C a predominately black audience he played Judas and my good friend Ben Vereen played Jesus (he was usually Judas). His name was Richard Kim Milford. They met when they were in the Broadway production of “Hair” back in the 60’s
Dimash will never sing Judas, his voice is too quiet, weak, short, he gets tired quickly. He already sang Memory Cats, and it was terrible! Your thirst for profit to disassemble the soundtracks, especially with the baritone, which was made in the studio is very commendable.
