Your Dartmoor is lovely, Anne! Such a clever use of Mohair scraps and color transitions. Sorry to hear of the Celeste challenges. Wish I had some elegant solutions for you. Thank you so much for The Bluebird Box pattern!! I’ll have a look and send you the link via Ravelry. ❤❤❤
Thank you for another lovely episode Anne! Perhaps with the Celeste sweater, you could create faux seams with a purl stitch under the arms, down the length of the body. Then you could decrease some stitches at the seams every so often, to reduce the size of the body, without having to change a needle size. Look forward to the next episode! Annie x
Thank you so much for watching! And thank you for a great tip! I am finished with my celeste, but I will take this tip with me if I ever come across this issue again. Hope you are having a wonderful week!!
I believe what you referred to as a candle box, are called Luminaries here in the US. I’ve seen them made out of paper bags, filled with sand and an added tea light. Usually, people place them along driveways. The Norwegian version sounds much sturdier.😊
Your dress looks amazing 😍 it's going to be so beautiful when you finish it. I like that we're both on a stripe kick .. I also had a sudden urge for stripes 😊 I totally understand the gauge woes... I've had a yoke fit nicely and then the mad skirt situation follow. Gauge is mad haha Lovely to see you again and your knits 😊 it feels like an age since I watched you.. obviously got too hooked on vlogmas haha
I have used the Flax pattern four times now. All sweaters were for children. I have enjoyed knitting them and perhaps I will knit one for myself one day:)
You might just need to go down a needle size or two for the body in order to get the gauge you need to make the sweater fit properly. It’s going to be a really pretty sweater to wear.
Thank you! Yes, I tried to go down on the needle size, but I got a real clear line where I changed needles. Hopefully it will be okay now. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
@@mynorthknitcorner hi again ! I do have a question if I may ask again … I want to do the Dartmoor sweater just like yours … but I don’t quite understand how to do the fade of colours… how many rows do you make before changing that strand of mohair or do you change every row ? I love your result ! And I also have lots of mohair leftovers ! Thanks again!
@@helenedumoulin9092 I did not have a spesific "pattern" for changing the colors. I just changed when I felt like it. But only changed one strand of mohair at the time. I hope this made sense. If not don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Anne! For your socks , I find the tree 🌲 that you dislike is pretty… it actually looks a bit like a birdhouse ….
A birdhouse, I like it! Thank you!
