I know this is a old video but I just wanna give you a big THANK YOU for this. Currently installing some EWG headers by myself and this just saved me! The tip about using the rubber mallets to knock the headers into place is gold bro! I've been fighting the second side for what seems like forever until I seen this video.
Great video dude! 👏🏻 One question, do you think I can apply all your mods except flex fuel, TGV/EGR and Dw300 fuel pump on the stock engine and transmission?
congratulations man. I've been loving my wrx since I've modded it. I had some issues with TPS sensors and my computer :-/ but I got it all fixed. Running "FBO" now with flex fuel 330 tq 360 hp - E56 // 300tq 330hp with 93 if I remember correctly. I got the Perrin header though, no wastegates :-( too loud already haha.
Awesome setup! Curious as to how the EWG pipes fair after you put miles on them considering how exposed they are, wouldn't you run the risk of bashing/clogging them up?
Thank you for your video! my 17 wrx's oem turbo oil reservoir's fitting came off(never touched it before, full bolt-on 91 tuned) and I found it out during oil change( saw oil drops on aluminum turbo guard). Went to subaru today of course they said my car is out of warranty so they wont swap it for me for free. Ordered a new reservoir and will install it myself. I just cant trust a made in china turbo anymore, will keep my eye on that fitting ever since.
This header and ewg kit comes in one assembled piece and ready to install? If i were to run a catless setup on my 2017 wrx, would you recommend this kit?
What does a stock car put down on your dyno... if you’re referring to the numbers I mentioned in this video I’m talking about Turnin Concepts dyno I cant speak for anyone else’s. I bet your would make another 50+ with the FP blue if you want to push the stock motor that fair. If you have a built block I’d get a FP blue right away.
@@nosubswrx Stock WRX's put around 220-225 on the mustang dyno here. I'm saying you that might make 450 with the FP Blue are you planning to run meth? Which I think is living on the edge, but he was using the ETS kit though. My videos are amateur hour compared to yours. I can't wait to see your completed build then maybe I'll think about upgrading my stock turbo.

My wrx compressor wheel is broken, i just bought it, and was hearing noise from the turbo and ya was not pretty, i have just bought in intake down pipe air oil separator, intercooler, you think this turbo would be good to put on mine and what else would you recommend i end up getting
The line from the top of the wastegate where do you plug that incase you want to plug it? Since you didnt plug to anything. Is it fine to leave it open like that?
What are the size of those bolts and spacers? I'm having issues using my existing skid plate with the killer B headers I just had put on my car, I bought the headers used and they didn't come with these bolts or spacers
Why did you opt for the verticooler over a FMIC? I would think you would've benefited more with a FMIC with your set up. Was it recommended by your tuner or just personal preference?
Pretty sure most turbos come with an internal wastegate. He blocked off the internal gate with that long screw, so it should only be running off the ewg’s now
@@michaelshin6438 you can still pick up Killer B's FA20 Twin Scroll Fury Turbo Kit. It turns an IWG header into an EWG header, and lets you use Garrett GTX 30 or 35 turbos.

Killer B really should include a template for the dumps for the skid plate , considering the price of that header.
That would be helpful

Pretty sure most turbos come with an internal wastegate. He blocked off the internal gate with that long screw, so it should only be running off the ewg’s now

What happens if you hit a puddle?

Do you know the length of those dumb tubes by any change ?
That verticooler hold that fp blue?
