      It’s all good if I listen to people like that it wouldn’t be MY car. Yes more hp would be nice but I’ve taken my tuners advice to keep the car where it is. Doesn’t mean it will stay at the hp forever 😉

    Mikey Botti Tuned Andrew Lima on a stock block and made 520 on a stock block. With the correct tuning (Mikey Botti) + meth and high Ethanol content e85 the stock engine will live just fine. And he is at 90k miles

I told him i rather have the FA20 ?even tho rods are poop) versus the ringland failures and he assured me most ppl that have failure doesnt do their service intervals daily and dont take care of their engine. Mod for mod id still have the FA20 but if i wanted a $25K build it wouldnt be Subaru lol.

    Adding the Killer B EWG Headers, IAG TGV Deletes, and DW300c at the end of the month. I am worried about how long my motor will last after that however seeing this makes me confident that I should be okay for at least another year. Any issues with the motor since your mods?

    Grats man! When the block goes you can push that baby close to mine power wise. We’re at 550 at 25psi internal waste gate but built motor with the FP Blue and Nostrum HPFP, stock tranny still. Clark Turners tuning mine.

    Motor should be fine with that torque curve...but the trans wont last if you shift hard at redline...good luck though

    NIce Power! Torque seems tamed down quite a bit. Since the torque is harder on the block. I'm running a similar setup. Trying to find a relatively budget way to get forged pistons and rods in the block before upgrading the turbo.

      This route vs a ets or killer b turbo kit save me about 2k. Haven’t really sat down and calculated it out so guesstimating anywhere from $5k to 8k without the clutch.

      Brendan, The reason other cars on a e60 Ron tune are that close, is because you get the max benefit from corn at a e60 blend and he is also fairly aggressive with his tunes. Not that there is anything wrong with that as the man knows what he is doing when it comes to tuning fa's.
      Regardless, I'm jelly af that your easily making that power on Wastegate pressure alone. I'm very interested to know your thoughts and experience with this set up once you have some time for it to all seat and work in. Mind if I dm you on here in a couple months to check back with you ?

    Very nice to see you hitting this number. Ive been watching for awhile now (I used your video to install my Brembo swap!) and plan on adding a Killerb EWG header as well, possibly even the FP Blue. Did you run into any issues maxing the MAF sensor out? If so, did you get a better one? Ron Watson at Phatbotti tuning mentions running into MAF issues with the Blue, so I was kind of hesitant on looking further into it. Keep it up man!

      Honestly on the stock block I don’t think it’s an issue if you’re trying to get longevity out of the block. Built I’m sure would be a different story but I don’t have the expertise to say one way or another man.

      @@nosubswrx no foresight lol? You know when you blow your motor it tends to actually blow up. Essentially you'll be building an entire engine, instead of just dropping in a staged block while your heads are still viable. Foresight would be to build your motor, BEFORE installing a bigger turbo, so you DONT blow your engine resulting in destroying your heads and valve train....

      The video clearly states why the hp was capped at this level. Doesn’t mean it will be forever. Plenty of 15+ WRXs are capped at 350tq and not blowing up, get a tune by a tuner that knows what his doing.
      Stock turbo = 50 lb/min = 500chp = 400whp
      FP Blue = 58 lb/min = 580chp = 464whp
