Great interview! He gets interviewed so often that sometimes the questions can get a little repetitive but you guys asked some different questions about him as a coach, loved it!

I always told myself I would never join CrossFit, then I found out about Mat Fraser. The rest is history!

This is great to hear. I was so disappointed after his Joe Rogan podcast. I saw him as pretty critical of the CF training methodology and not particularly passionate about it outside of competition. Seeing people discover and embrace CF because of him... pretty cool.
      This was a great interview.

Curious if crossfit coaches take Safesport and heads up concussion training? Anyone know?

Does he co own a CrossFit gym? CrossFit 802? Or just friends with the owners?

One thing I don't understand is why Mat can't give credit to previous coaches that his athletes have had? James Townsend is obviously a great coach, why not lead with appreciation and acknowledgement of other great coaches?

I believe Mal went to the Games twice as a teen BEFORE she was with Townsend. Townsend doesn't seem to have great retention with his athletes.

Mal was first trained by EZ Muhammed, James Townsend took Mal away from EZ, didn't give EZ credit, why is he complaining now?

Mat hates James. James is a part time athlete and he's 3x stronger than Mat.
