Hi, Does the Hi 5 using the left hand of one child and the right hand of the other child not confuse them as they are practicing different sticking pattern on different hands to what you are teaching them. Would it not be better if one child Hi5 with the left hand to the left hand of the other child? So that they are learning the same sticking pattern.
I usually just leave stickings up to the students. Some will use opposite hands, others same hand. It usually doesn't confuse students, they sort it out on their own.
