They probably named it Super WeiLong because it‘s super smooth but also super expensive, comes in a super big box and with a super silly accessory. I would super appreciate it if they would release a light version.

I have the 'premium' one. MoYu just released their best cube that hardly anyone is going to buy because over half the price has gone on useless gimmicks and wasteful packaging. It doesn't even have a regular box to keep dust off it. If they released a light version of the premium one, it would be an instant hit.

I think that MoYu should stick to the cheaper price point and have a few expensive ones
I feel that they were always the reliable not $10,000 cubes
Although, Moyu has improved a ton recently, but I do not think they could release as many cubes as they do at this price.

i mean if they do people who want moyu cubes will just buy rs3m v5s ys3ms and weilong v9s, and theyll probably go back to having better value cubes (or just discontinue their cheaper cubes, which will drop their sales a LOT)

i wish moyu would just make one cube at each price point, not 3/4 versions of each cube. e.g. the ballcore versions of the rs3m v5, ys3m, wrm v9 and super weilong and leave it at that

Speaking of unnecessary accessories, can cube companies stop wasting paper and stop giving people cfop instructions? Nobody buys a 90$ cube and does not know how to solve a cube, and if so, everyone learns to solve it with youtube...
Chinese cube companies put instructions probably because TH-cam is banned there . I don’t know if their popular websites (e.g. bilibili) have cube tutorials, but still no one would spend that much money on their first cube.

I've said this before, but no matter how good that cube is, it's not $80 good (same goes for gan, but they're a lost cause)

Why.
Moyu needs to stop wasting r&d on useless garbage like huge boxes, watch stands and robot cube stands.. We don't live in Yu-Gi-Oh, and I don't know any procuber who is going to actually wear that thing. I feel like the only reason why they're doing this is to try and justify the new price and frankly, and given that 3x3 technology has hit an obvious plateau, there's no reason to upgrade from the v9 or even the RS3M super to this thing unless you absolutely love the feel.
To be quite frank, I used to main the v9 but I've gone back to my tornado v3 because the v9 just feels cheaper after a year of using it. The pieces feel like they're going to fall apart because the caps tend to pop off when you try to pull the pieces out of the cube, the fact that this cube costs more than the tornado V3 and yet is of worst construction, it's ridiculous. I had a v9 that broke, one of the corners dented in when I dropped it on a cube mat after a solve. It's a light cube, and it's not like I threw it down or anything, the plastic is just that thin.
According to the video that the cubicle released, this one doesn't use the cube caps but the corners do sometimes pop open when you dropped the cube on a mat after a solved. It just goes to show you that the price has nothing to do with the actual construction of this cube, and is likely the box and the silly watch stand. For an $90 cube, this is unacceptable. For any cube above $50 dollars, it's nonsense. And forget the huge box which will end up in the trash or recycling.
