Harumichi has a point. Low grade on communication though. And what i mean by this is - toya said his music felt inoffensive. That sounds like the music he’s making is safe. I think he should try making music thats bold and audacious as hell - like its even in the dialogue: the song needs to prove something. What makes vbs powerful performances is how they’re daring everyone to see them as they are and demanding the audience love them. For me, id love it if toya made music that entirely unapologetic, so incredibly toya, flaws and all. Im not a music maker but that’s what i think, seeing this video

Man the amount of parallels in Shinei and Harumichi parenting methods is palpable. They're stoic people and even when giving advice they have their own way of giving it, often times making it hard for their children to even understand the offered advice. Regardless I'm sure Toya can find a way, we shall trust 🙏🏼
