I love when my significant other ask me for an specific etiquete rule because I seem to be an expert thank to you 😅😊 love you Jamila. Hope you are having a blessed week ❤
Ali Andreea is an outstanding professional make-up artist you must get to know. The two of you together provide all that the elegant woman needs today.
Greeting etiquette. I, as a younger woman, never greet older men first, my neighbors. But they don't either! Then it is awkward silence. What if I'm wrong? Also, it's interesting if this varies from culture to culture.
Excellent video, Jamila. I'm an amateur wine fanatic with strong views about my choice in glassware so we can talk all day about this subject. My tip for anyone interested if you're looking for just one type of wine glass: get a larger than you'd normally consider white wine glass made of crystal, undecorated and as thin as possible spending the most per glass as you feel comfortable with knowing inevitably you're going to break one. That'll be awesome for whites, reds and sparkling. Yes I do think varietal-specific glasses can truly make a difference, I actually champion this, but etiquette I think would dictate for example being invited to a party and not telling the host there's a better glass for this. BUT if the host knows I'm passionate about wine and dares ask me, all bets are off and I'll discuss it non-stop. And tumbler-style wine glasses may be practical and dishwasher more friendly but let's skip those please. 😁
You’re amazing! Your’s are the first etiquette videos that have held my interest throughout. I’m currently going through your playlists. Although I’m a stickler for manners, I’ve realized whilst watching your videos there’s always more to learn. Thank you for taking the time and effort to make these videos. x
I have been drinking wines for years, and I am quite picky. When I drink, I only ever have one or two glasses. This is because I drink for flavor, not to get drunk. As for the larger rounded wine glasses. One should put the thin stem between the two middle fingers. Holding to the base with thumb and pointer finger. This is how one would swirl the glass as well, for aroma. The reason for this is because, the top part is bigger. If you hold it from the bottom of the stem, one risks spilling. This is proper etiquette for that type of traditional glass. I used to hold them like you're saying until I got schooled. Holding the larger rounded wine glasses by the bottom of the stem screams, trying to hard and no experience with drinking wines. My favorite wines are French and Italian, there is just no comparison in flavors. American wines are almost always trash, except the spice reds, which are amazing served warm. Bavarian, also has some excellent fruit wines as well. My favorite flavors tend to be late harvest whites and mid to late reds. The late harvest whites are so good because the grapes pull more sugar into them due to the colder weather season. As for the reds, in mid to late harvest, there are more red spiced wins. I don't personally like the bitterness of reds and the spice off sets that problem, for me. ❤❤❤❤
I know im late, but I have just watch this video and subscribed to you at once!!! You are one TH-camr that is a must watch by all. Sorry for my English ❤from 🇯🇵
Hii Jamila, I just want to tell u that u are the person I admire whom I saw online. (A real life person who inspires me is my mom). I am an old subscriber of yours. I found u around February 2020 when COVID behan here in india. U inspire me so much that I followed u on Instagram also. Whenever u feel low ( everyone does) just remember that I and many others admire u and are just proud of you. ❤❤
Jamila a video on some of your top recommendations for visiting Baku/Azerbaijan would be phenomenal! Maybe your top 5 recommendations on things to do when visiting Azerbaijan etc!❤
I would love for you to have a travel show where you go to different countries and show etiquette in different cultures. Beer etiquette in Germany, sushi etiquette in Japan, Imu etiquette in Hawaii, etc.
I'm a new sub here. 😍My suggestion is to recommend glasses and shapes and their tactile experience on affiliate sights. As you know, the glass elevates the experience.
This video was released in the middle of my exams, so I couldn’t watch it earlier, but oh it was worth the wait! Thank you so much for the efforts that you put into your videos, Madam Musayeva! If it does not bother you to reply, is there a way that I can buy your books in India?
Hii mam,can you make a video if some 1 want to be etiquette teacher like you which quality should have, which certification i need? Nd how to approch through insagram and you tube? Mam i am engineer but i have decided to make my carrer like you,i made this decission from your video.I love you ❤ Nd your video.
Why do movies often show characters holding champagne glasses by the bowl, which is considered improper etiquette? Is it possible that the filmmakers are unaware of the correct way to hold a glass, or is there some intentional reason behind portraying this incorrect form? I’m curious if there’s a deeper message or if it’s just an oversight. What do you think?
I’m aware in French coupé is pronounced “koo-pay”. Both for the ballet movement and traditional Champaign glass. I wondered if your pronunciation (“coop”) related to a language, accent or cultural difference?
@@JamilaMusayeva so far my results suggest it is cultural. American English = “coop” and British English/French “koo-pay”, irrespective of whether or not an accent (é) is used. This when applying to all contexts (cats, glasses), with the exception of ballet where “koo-pay” appears consistent. I wondered if that aligned with your understanding? If so, I’m wondering if it might be correct etiquette to apply “koo-pay” when in England/France, and “coop” if in America?

You can search the correct pronunciation online and read about the difference ☺️
