It's so weird listening to songs from Page Avenue. 17 years ago. I'm 34. I've been listening to that album for half of my life and it gets me every time. Brings me back to high school. Couldn't thank these guys enough for their music and if could, i wouldn't know how.
35 here, remember me the energy they gave me in my late years of highschool or when I first knew them while playing Need 4 speed , sadly I never seen them live but its true songs still kicking like the first day
I just went back few days ago.... and story of the year was the best back when u had to only buy albums so the money when u no every track 🤙🏼😍 in the shadows is my track

Didn't know who these guys were when they opened for another band 10 years ago. But when they got on stage it was jaw dropping intensity. I was impressed and it was definitely one of my favorite performances that I still talk about. Mad respect.

It's almost 2020... Damn... ..over 14 years ago they sound good.. 2019 its hitting harder then ever before..I'm taking it to the future.. that's gonna be the story of the year right.. pshh I saw them 6 times
...and i'd bet that they all love playing 'In The Wake' the best without a doubt, blatantly. Look at the aesthetics and how pumped they get. I never get bored of 'is this my fate?'...gets me bouncin off the walls everytime
weird seeing dan marsala(singer) with tight jeans and a jean jacket on like that lol.. he use to rock the band shirts, and dickie shorts :P I feel old watching this!!! use to go to these guys concert everytime in florida when I was 15 years old... ill be 25 on Dec 9th.. sheesh!
These guys were awesome in Cincinnati when I saw them in '08 and this just took me back... no pun intended! Awesome then, awesome now! This gets me pumped!!!
What u crazy? All member changes, changed name of band atleast twice (67 North, Big Blue Monkey). Dan originally played drums. Moon wasn't even in the band
@@clintonmagnin5955 I wrote it 7 years ago, you twat. And ofcourse I mean from when they were named Story Of The Year. Use the logical part of your brain before you write next time.
SEE!! So awesome when they go heavy...less of the harmonies, more of the riffs and solos. ...still doing the 'WOOOOOoooooooooss' too and the leg kicks...well if it sells!
+Carlos Espinoza I made a couple big dudes throw me in the air and I did a backflip into a Christ air landing at a NIN concert. Crowd went nutz but none of my click saw it , talk about bitter sweet!
Story of the Year is from my hometown of Saint Louis MO, and they still play at the little club The Pageant where they played 10 years ago. I'm gonna see em tonight there
Yeah we do! Cavo, Killer Me Killer You, Story of the Year, etc. and dude they played with Hawthorne Heights last night fucking killed it one of the best live shows I've to and they only charged $15 a ticket
Lol serious? i guess you didn't listen because there albums progressively got heavier and more riff oriented which i prefer. This was a goal of the band when making there newer albums.

Ya! Same for me. I’ll be 33 in the summer and I remember seeing them live in like ‘04-‘05. Wild.
@@jaygreenfield2438 Yeah i think i saw them in 04 too. Unmatched energy!
35 here, remember me the energy they gave me in my late years of highschool or when I first knew them while playing Need 4 speed , sadly I never seen them live but its true songs still kicking like the first day
Yeah dude
39 here, playing some of there songs in a punk cover and coming up and i fucking love it
This band is completely under rated.
They peaked 10 years ago. Still good, but they are at the tail end of their career. Not really underrated by any stretch.

At their peak of power! Incredible band! Their mix of post hardcore, metal and hard rock is highly underrated.
These guys are still as hype as 10 years ago!
I got into these guys because of their track on Need For Speed Underground. Loved them ever since!! Wish they would come to Australia again
oz tour...june this year
Yeah man, they are coming this year, bought tickets yesterday.
Didn't know who these guys were when they opened for another band 10 years ago. But when they got on stage it was jaw dropping intensity. I was impressed and it was definitely one of my favorite performances that I still talk about. Mad respect.
Thanks guys for recording this show!

Saw them in Bangkok! So much energy gave me goosebumps!
Still one of my favourites bands
...and i'd bet that they all love playing 'In The Wake' the best without a doubt, blatantly. Look at the aesthetics and how pumped they get. I never get bored of 'is this my fate?'...gets me bouncin off the walls everytime
love that they played Swallow the Knife
Always young and energitic band. If I'm not wrong, Dan is 39 years old now. Consider how much youngfulness they reflect.
Cause they are young lol 33 , it's all good though I get what u mean
Now he’s 39 lol
One of the best shows of 2013! Thanks for posting it!
I swear, SOTY always has the best crowds. They're amazing!
Best live show I've seen. Saw them in Cincy.
weird seeing dan marsala(singer) with tight jeans and a jean jacket on like that lol.. he use to rock the band shirts, and dickie shorts :P I feel old watching this!!! use to go to these guys concert everytime in florida when I was 15 years old... ill be 25 on Dec 9th.. sheesh!
LeGette88 it's weird seeing him having hair too
he still wears band shirts at shows, it's mostly punk rock bands from the 80s and 90s tho
I feel old too! Haha
Favorite band!
You guys played those cover songs better than the original haha. Been a fan since I saw you guys on Hard Rock Live on MTV. Awesome show.
Nice band
I WAS AT THIS CONCERT! BEST SHOW OF MY LIFE.
Was that in St . Louis what venue
sacramento Ace of spades
These guys were awesome in Cincinnati when I saw them in '08 and this just took me back... no pun intended! Awesome then, awesome now! This gets me pumped!!!
Marvelous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice video. One of the best shows I have been to in the past 10 years.
Where's the person with too much time on their hands that posts the song times???
Yaapp.. i'm searching the same guy too..

I love this band though!!!
yep
They need bigger stage!!!
ona of the best ever us ive lyke this bnd

If this band played in arenas they'd tear the house down! They're that good live
Dan sounds really good
1:05:00 - For some good old classics by other bands. Yellowcard, Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance, The Used
Fuck Yeah! Dan Marsala and band are the shit!
Razorblades :O
Amazing!!!!
I'm looking for a live version of "Just Close Your Eyes".
Fucking awesome
These guys are legends. Been a band for so long, and no member changes. Pioneers. Awesome :)
What u crazy? All member changes, changed name of band atleast twice (67 North, Big Blue Monkey). Dan originally played drums. Moon wasn't even in the band

I just realize that they're deftones' big fans!
Story Of The Year
I was on the balcony during that concert, yo.

Wish people didn’t have to pull out their phones during shit like this. If they didn’t it’d be more like when they played on MTV2 Hard Rock Live
Fucking love SOTY
Did u get like moths to flames

SEE!! So awesome when they go heavy...less of the harmonies, more of the riffs and solos.
...still doing the 'WOOOOOoooooooooss' too and the leg kicks...well if it sells!
Do they still do flips? (Haven't seen it all yet)
At least once that I remember
55:40 -> in the shadows. They do!
2 3 times not a lot cause it's a small stage
+Carlos Espinoza I made a couple big dudes throw me in the air and I did a backflip into a Christ air landing at a NIN concert. Crowd went nutz but none of my click saw it , talk about bitter sweet!
I really miss Moon. It's like RHCP without Frusciante!
Love being able feel gay then a tough guy in the same night.
Where was this show?
Is Dan wearing jeggins?
Thumbs up if you think Phil looks like Christian Bale
Going strong still. btw the bass player is total dude :P
...should have stuck with the Deftones cover for sure!!
:0:55:39 Woww
To those people that didn't jump you don't know what music is lol
dan got hair
they could of went hardcore
Wish the bass player would of stayed!!
if there was any justice in the world story of the year would never play in a small venue. they put on a show for big, sold out venues
but the smaller venues is where you have the most fun at, trust me, seen korn play a small venue and it was better than seeing them at a festival
Story of the Year is from my hometown of Saint Louis MO, and they still play at the little club The Pageant where they played 10 years ago. I'm gonna see em tonight there
I know they are from STL, from KC personally, and Missouri has some bad-ass bands!! and btw, fuck you, lol
Yeah we do! Cavo, Killer Me Killer You, Story of the Year, etc. and dude they played with Hawthorne Heights last night fucking killed it one of the best live shows I've to and they only charged $15 a ticket
gotta love the Pageant, still haven't been to Pops yet
fuck me they fucked up razorblades its my favorite song of theirs and they made it gay and slow
Too bad they went all soft and changed for worse after their first two albums
Page Avenue? It was much faster than Constant and (IMO) More hardcore than The Black Swan
Lol serious? i guess you didn't listen because there albums progressively got heavier and more riff oriented which i prefer. This was a goal of the band when making there newer albums.
wjveryzer7985 agreed.
their first 3 albums r heavy, the constant isnt as much, cant wait till they perform in STL again
The Black Swan had their heaviest songs (especially the bsides), The Constant was a mix of soft/heavy so your point doesn't make any sense.
I'm looking for a live version of "Just Close Your Eyes".
