This video was super helpful. Went very well. Putting the door panels back on was not awesome in the cold as it was getting dark but not a huge deal. Thanks!
The fuse rating wouldn't change; the fuse is based upon the draw of the mirrors not the circuit it is tapping to. That being said, we haven't validated any bed cargo light wiring so we are unsure if this is feasible or not and whether that circuit can support an additional load.
@@boostautopartsI wanna tap into my cargo lights on my 2018 Tundra Limited. I’m not sure which wire though. I’m thinking of trying the wire behind the cargo light button on the lower dash panel.
What about power folding, like for example my truck is 2021 sport, it has the blind spot monitor and the heating but no power folding. How do I add this future ?
Boost is so close to perfection. The missing piece is for them to produce a plug and play tee connectors and drop the clam shell wire connectors. Other than that, my F-150 BA mirrors are excellent going in 6 years installed.
So, I have a 2017 Toyota Tundra SR5. I plan on purchasing these. All I care about is that the outside mirror illuminates at night when I have my headlights on. Will I need to do any extra wiring to make this happen or will it be straight plug and play from my factory harness? Thanks.
Signal & Running Light 1.0: The lights will flash as a turn signal. At night when the running lights are activated, the lights will operate at 50% intensity for running light, 100% intensity for turn signal. Signal & Running Light 2.0: The lights will flash as a turn signal. At night when the running lights are activated, the lights will operate at 100% intensity for running light, 100% intensity for turn signal.
If you're not wanting to add the reverse light you can just plug the mirrors in - assuming you go with either signal only mirrors OR originally didn't have memory seats. Give our team a call at 765-831-2830 and they can go over what it would take to achieve a more "plug and play" install for your specific truck.

Awesome, happy to hear it helped!
What if mine came with grey inserted of blue wire? Did everything in this video but reverse lights not coming on
Is there an alternative instead of tapping into the reverse lights.
At this time we only have the reverse light spec'd, but any 12V power feed will be ok!
Thanks for replying back
If I tap them into the bed cargo light instead of the reverse should I still use the 3amp fuse?

Happy to hear the mirrors are living up to your expectations!
okay since the tundras got power folding, can we PLEASE get power folders for the 99-07 silverado’s?
Our development team is very aware of the interest in the older GM vehicles, but I will remind them of the renewed interest!

Did you use a three amp fuse?
Yes
Thank you

Please reach out to our support team at support@boostautoparts.com for assistance.

I’d like to connect my high output light to a Switch Pros lighting system. Does the white wire simply need a 12v+ feed?
Yes, the white wire just needs 12V+.
Is it possible to ship to Japan?
At this time we do not ship directly to Japan
@@boostautoparts I understand.
Thank you for your reply.
What’s the difference between running 1.0 and 2.0?
Signal & Running Light 1.0: The lights will flash as a turn signal. At night when the running lights are activated, the lights will operate at 50% intensity for running light, 100% intensity for turn signal.
Signal & Running Light 2.0: The lights will flash as a turn signal. At night when the running lights are activated, the lights will operate at 100% intensity for running light, 100% intensity for turn signal.
Mine doesn't have power folding mirror and is a 2020 tundra 😢
We have a power folding upgrade available if you want to gain the feature!
What a pain in the arse... this is gonna be NOT fun. But awesome video with very detailed technical instructions.
