@Trell the Great How does having a primary MOS of rifleman and a secondary MOS of scout sniper work ? What would I be carrying into combat and where would I be in combat and firefights ?
EOD- Explosive Ordinance Disposal is 2336 it's a secondary MOS- Military Occupational Specialty. A cross trained selection process with the NAVY & ARMY- 89D) belonging to 5811 - Military Police , 5812 - Dog Handler , 8512- Security Forces. There planning on makeing it a primary MOS seince the demand for EOD is fairly high. The Marine Corps dosent have EOD perse . They primarily barrow EOD from the NAVY .
O331 Machine Gunner you'll have to qualify on the range of course it's easy familiarize yourself with the wepon infantry you're trained in Small Arm's.
Lilmaxypad69 M , If your talking about Security Forces than yes because they all went to SOI and have an Infantry mos. But if you’re referring to like Military Police, than no they’re not apart of the Infantry.
Guarding the American Embassy as a Commissioned Officer or Warrant Officer probably wouldn't be a very good idea Incase of getting captured. They allready have to worry about civillan's and diplomats getting caught in a firefight or getting captured.
Idk what do to I can’t decide between machine gunner or riflemen but if your a machine gunner will you carry an m4 as well or just the machine gun? And does riflemens shoot a machine gun on SOI???
Wow thanks for the response so to wrap it up every infantry MOS even the machine gunners carry m4’s? Btw I watch all ur vids all enjoy all of them thank u for making content that is actually useful 😃
Correction everyone will get trained on the M4 Carbine or M16 regardless of there MOS so yes a 0331 Machine Gunner humping a M240G could swap out for a M4 Carbine. That M240G weighs like 23.5 pounds loaded after awhile someone will oventuly get tried of carrying it.
Your ears might close up and you'll have to get them re-pierced so that's why he's worried about it. My friend had gauges when he joined the ARMY. I don't know how he manged to slip past AR-6701. They kicked him out 3 weeks later with an undesirable discharge so i guess it doesn't matter.
itsyourboy POTATOE AIM , They basically hold try outs for it and if you make it then you’re in. And after that you just have to pass Scout Sniper school
0317 Sniper's & Designated Marksman usually start out as 0311 Rifleman. You'll have to prove expert on the gun range than your company commander will put in a request for you .
Wulf_Jon , Technically no but as long as your off base or when you go back home I don’t see why not. But as soon as you get on base I would take them out
Ferret Green , How so. You’re not going to be in Weapons with anything lower than a 100 gt score. Sure there are some exceptions but yes your gt score plays apart in specific job selection
You will spend some time breaking down and cleaning your wepon the Infantry evolves around Small Arm's. A side from that you'll clean the barracks , latrines, offices. You'll learn responsibility and discipline throughout your career.

I'm from Memphis, TN but I'm stationed in Jacksonville, NC
Isn't eod apart of infantry?
Explosive Ordnance Disposal is a rate in the Navy, not Marines.
@@mezcxl EOD is a MOS as well in the marines lmao
EOD- Explosive Ordinance Disposal is 2336 it's a secondary MOS- Military Occupational Specialty. A cross trained selection process with the NAVY & ARMY- 89D) belonging to 5811 - Military Police , 5812 - Dog Handler , 8512- Security Forces. There planning on makeing it a primary MOS seince the demand for EOD is fairly high. The Marine Corps dosent have EOD perse . They primarily barrow EOD from the NAVY .
Are you driving ur free camero?
Nope WRX
Is is pretty easy to become a machine gunner?
O331 Machine Gunner you'll have to qualify on the range of course it's easy familiarize yourself with the wepon infantry you're trained in Small Arm's.
I dare you to say “you know” one more time
is a gt score of 111 good?
How hard is it to get the 0311 job.
Not hard at all
Bruhh
All you have to do is score expert on the Edison Range stay away from the Pizza Box and Old Maggie's Red Drawers.
Ayee u from Memphis hell. I'm Nashville
way to completely leave out 13s lmao
Engineers are more grunt then [L]azy [A]nd [R]etarded
Gonna act dumb af on my tests then
What do the Marines who don't split to weapons do?
You stay as an 0311
Is marine security guard considered as infantry?
Lilmaxypad69 M , If your talking about Security Forces than yes because they all went to SOI and have an Infantry mos. But if you’re referring to like Military Police, than no they’re not apart of the Infantry.
Trell the Great do you know if you could go into security forces as an officer?
Samdaman Forman , I’m not 100% sure on that but I’m pretty sure you can. I’ll ask someone for you though to make sure.
Ozone , Everyone has to carry a rifle no matter what and no you don’t shoot a machine gun as a rifleman in SOI
Wow thanks for the response so to wrap it up every infantry MOS even the machine gunners carry m4’s? Btw I watch all ur vids all enjoy all of them thank u for making content that is actually useful 😃
Ozone , Yep unfortunately everyone has to carry around one. And thank you
Correction everyone will get trained on the M4 Carbine or M16 regardless of there MOS so yes a 0331 Machine Gunner humping a M240G could swap out for a M4 Carbine. That M240G weighs like 23.5 pounds loaded after awhile someone will oventuly get tried of carrying it.
what kinda truck you was driving?
wasn't driving a truck
Tha f-k?
Happy 4th 🍔🍷
cant u get in trouble for having earings? Im fresh out of boot i was mad because they told us that we couldnt even in civis
man its just earrings, just take them out who cares
Your ears might close up and you'll have to get them re-pierced so that's why he's worried about it. My friend had gauges when he joined the ARMY. I don't know how he manged to slip past AR-6701. They kicked him out 3 weeks later with an undesirable discharge so i guess it doesn't matter.
Naw, plenty of guys had em, even tongue piercing
If you can could you go more in-depth in it what it takes to be 0317
itsyourboy POTATOE AIM , They basically hold try outs for it and if you make it then you’re in. And after that you just have to pass Scout Sniper school
itsyourboy POTATOE AIM No problem
0317 Sniper's & Designated Marksman usually start out as 0311 Rifleman. You'll have to prove expert on the gun range than your company commander will put in a request for you .
You know
I currently have earrings and i was wondering because i see in the video you got earrings, if after bootcamp if i can still have my earrings
Wulf_Jon , Technically no but as long as your off base or when you go back home I don’t see why not. But as soon as you get on base I would take them out
Beckie Buckie , I’m not facing any trouble at all sir. It’s not that serious but you’re right it’s not the right thing to do. It’s a new Marine Corps
0341 steel rain steel pain baby
Based on your gt that’s bs
Ferret Green , How so. You’re not going to be in Weapons with anything lower than a 100 gt score. Sure there are some exceptions but yes your gt score plays apart in specific job selection
0331 OOH RAH
Say all again before dot dot dot dash dot dash.... over
I want to join an 03 MOS or 11 Bravo (army) but I heard that you spend 90% of your time cleaning is this true ?
No
Yahh Feel mee dat was stupid question bro
You will spend some time breaking down and cleaning your wepon the Infantry evolves around Small Arm's. A side from that you'll clean the barracks , latrines, offices. You'll learn responsibility and discipline throughout your career.
