True about power and right angle gesr boxes but the reason they did it was the width, they have a folding pick up via the rubber conveyer and the only way to feed the grass in is turn the chopper unit 90 degrees. Class did it many years ago with their smaller trailed forager, neighbours had one, a Jaguar 40
You are quite correct about power absorption. It also applies to liquids a 1/2 lb per foot rise and per bend when calculating bar pressure on a pump. I learned my rule of thumb from a Director of Chubb Fire who manned and calculated fire pump pressure on the Thames during the blitz. Old lessons die hard!
Really enjoyed your coverage of Agritechnica thanks for taking the time for sharing it with us. Thought there was alot at the old Lamma shows but this is something else. 👍
Another great video Olly it’s was a rock picker there’s definitely some fancy equipment and thanks for making the videos and showing us all around the show 👏👏👍👍
Thanks for putting this all together for us, I was there 10 years ago and really enjoyed it. The badge in the shoe made me laugh, the sort of thing I would do.
That flail mower with the belts is used a lot in America they use it on corn stalks and bale it up for mushroom growers to make compost out of, and I suppose you could also bale it up and bio mass it.
Enjoyed that, great video. You would have thought that the straw to logs business was possible, solar running electric drives when spare kilowatts available, flue pipe diversion off the boiler if required and you can control the selling price for a change and build a stock through the late summer/ autumn ready for the peak winter demand
It was good seeing the Two John Deeres cut in half They could be a good buy in a bit might be able to buy them for half price I really. Liked. The look of the John Deere. Stand there looked some pretty impressive machines on the stand It must be mind boggling seeing all that fantastic machinery You have got some brilliant footage I loved all the technology we are getting very advanced There’s just one problem with all this machinery it’s getting very costly just hope the prices keep up to pay for it all feeling 95% today and Olly what a brilliant video we’ve had today
Great video, some seriously big tackle on show. Its amazing to see the european machines for cleaning and cutting verges. Why don't we have similar in our green and pleasant land?
Exactly the same thing happened to me about 5 yrs ago at copenhagen, all the boards said "expected 2 hrs late" l was killing time on the landside , suddenly , much earlier then expected boards said "boarding" by the time I ran thro security to gate , plane was still outside with steps still there and they refused me entry , easyjet tossers
