Please: u guys never explained in this vid how to rebind the ability to ping ur cooldowns to ur team. I lost the option too and cannot for the love of me find out how to fix it. I am a jg main and cannot ping when smite is on cool down or any abilities, or if I need to buy an item, etc. pls help, can’t find anywhere in settings
such a huge massive thumbs up for the "disable chat". its like a completly new game, now actualy fun to play again
Agree I had some lucky placements games and went 9-1 and got placed in gold 2 even though I'm probably a silver player and was afraid to keep playing ranked because of the flame I might get . I muted everyone and now I'm having a good time even if I don't do well, laining against better players is really helping me improve.

as a jungler, I turned off Ally and Enemy chats in the settings and will never activate them again.
I'm having such a better time in my games.
highly recommend for junglers.

Tbh solo queue you have to work around what your teammates do anyway
Note: if you mute your teammates then after the game you might honor someone that flamed you.
Then, don't honor 'em or honor the best one loool, or jg if he was good

I've been playing league with chat off for about 6 months now and it has drastically increased my enjoyment of the game. The way I see it is that if I care what an ally has to say, then I'm already in voice comms with them. Glad you're pushing this idea!

Setting #1: Set your computer to deep fried mode so that you can see skillshots.
Step one: Have ballin ass PC.
Step two: Dumb down the game settings and don't use ballin ass PC's specs.
Instead of Linus Tech Tips, we get Skill Capped Tech Tips
Remember, high fps with a low refresh rate is better that low with low. Having high fps regardless of refresh rate means when your monitor refreshes the frame, it’ll be the most up to date frame.
Wow finally someone who gets that... It's not possible though because human eye can only see 21 FPS xD
@@yologuyyoloyol58 That’s been proven fake time and time again. The human eye can see WAY more than 21 FPS, and playing on anything less than 60 feels super clunky in game

More importantly it also allows your skills to come out faster. Polling is not tied to your monitor or game's refresh rate but your gpu's. This means that if you get unlucky and hit a button after the last poll before the next frame is locked in then your flash or heal will come out a frame late. This really can end up matter (though it matters **alot** more in things like Fighting Games) and causes a noticable difference in reaction checks. Having a higher frame rate increases the likelihood that your input will be read before the next frame is accepted
1:23 says colorblind lux skills are more easy to dodge, shows us non colorblind lux skill. You had one job.
Can confirm how well muting everyone works. Just last night had a game where in the lobby I was asked if I was chat restricted or just had insane mental because the jungler was flaming me and I never responded. I'm certain if I had chat on, we likely would have lost that game.

The last tip of muting all is exceptionally helpful, turned off team and enemy chat from settings for months now and haven't turned it on ever since, and league is more enjoyable now and i can focus more on my own gameplay.

plot twist: Anti-Aliasing which you didnt turn off in the video actually is one of the most processing intensive tasks.
I love these kinds of videos. It reminds me of the abomination that is my keybind setup.
Ability 1 and 2 (known as Q and W) are on my mouse thumb buttons, E and R are the same. WASD moves my camera, summoners are on F and V, my quick level commands are still ctrl + q-r. My target champs only is shift + Q, move attack is Shift + Right Click. My items are Q and 2-7.
That’s all I can remember off the top of my head.

You could also replace the " stop position key " by the dance , it has the same mechanical use and it's very triggering when you spam it to ennemies
Only issue is a few champs like Wukong and Fiddle need to actually sit still to do their fakeouts correctly

I wish that we could combine attack move with "attack champions only". And that we had a "walk only" key. It's frustrating that leauge doesn't have all the customizable things I'd like sadly
You can combine attack move with target champions only. Make sure you are actually targeting something when you are using it, because that's what it functions with.
Bro like I play this game for so long now with some big pause and learned things I never knew. like this attack move on cursor mode o.O Thank you. Also the tip with the colors is really good.
the thing is the all chat was useful since one time the enemy team said the location of their jg or they sometimes say thins like "go herald" since they pressed shift

Quick casting with indicators allows for rolling which helps adjust you aim right before the release of the key if you are tracking with your mouse

Linus actually did some testing and found that greater FPS still affects what you can see and hence gameplay performance among FPS players to an extent EVEN when you're using a monitor that has a refresh rate that should cap that in theory. Basically each of those 60hz ticks has a better chance of having more up to date info when you're playing at 300 fps than 100. So it still matters even if your monitor is bottlenecking you.
Another thing to align with the last one: mute enemy emotes, disable enemy eternals. I really don't care how often the enemy Draven has killed someone with his ult, or have a Blitz flash his mastery every time he lands a hook. It's honestly quite refreshing, just a little bit less bm.

The thing about using separate binds for normal ward and quick cast ward mentioned here doesnt work with support warding item for some reason. I tested it in practice tool, tried different settings but.. It works with trinklet, but with support item, shift+button just doesnt do anything for some reason. Its bugged or i am doing something wrong?

A couple years ago, I bound attack move nearest to the cursor to my spacebar. It took some games to get used to it, but now I always hit space to auto things and move with my right click. I've never misclicked and walked into an enemy since. Fucking amazing
If you do it right, you can go into game settings file and make space bar both center camera and champion only. Makes teamfights way easier

I can 100% say disable chat has made my games much more fun, and probably helped me win a few of them. There have been games where I've been struggling and know my team are flaming me, but as I can't see it I just keep on trucking and eventually come back into the game.
Note that disabling Allied Chat will not allow you to copy+paste summoners! "/mute all" does though.
Also, I'd love to see champion specific Keybinds/Tips&Tricks, prime example: Lee Sin insecs (Q > Q > Trinket > W > R or Q > Trinket > W > Flash > R > Q), which can get overwhelming. I'd love to know if there is an easier way to pull it off, other than failing a hundred times!

Best thing I did was bind my left click for autoattackmoveclick. Then when playing any champion i move using right click and attack using left click. With this i never missclick anything, always auto at most range possible. Playing adc has never been so easy
how do u click on map tho? mine runs to where i click my m1 in the map

If you hold down a key bound to quick cast with indicator it works like normal casting until you release the key binding. Quick casting with indicators is the best of both worlds.

I started off this year/season with disabling all chat and ally chat. Honestly helped so much and I still get teammate pings. and if they spam those, i just mute those

I played a game recently where voice lines actually were helpful, i had 0 vision in a bush and i get a voiceline queue for the enemy champion while walking past it, got a kill for it and they didnt like me canceling their recall

One question I have about attack move and attack champs only: it seems like if I have both active, attack move overrides attack champs only, even if I clearly see that the "center diamond" of the cursor is red. Is there no way around this? Funnily enough, it works this way for minions, but for jungle mobs it works properly and attack move + attack champs only disables targeting of jungle camps even while attack moving.

Goodness! I've already seen a few League Settings videos but never any that showed me the move camera on revive box! So glad I learned to turn this off today.
I have have the most success on Singed when I bind laugh and mastery on my mouse.
No seriously, bind the laugh under your mouse, you can bait Fiora's w with it and auto animation.
I feel like Chris Fix is giving me league tips right now.
I also turn off announcer voice as hearing "an ally has been slain" 12 times in 8 minutes is quite disheartening.
please note that regadless of the monitor refresh rate, a game with higher FPS will always feel smoother due to reduced input delay.

didn't know the thing about the monitor was playing on 60hz instead of the 144hz I could have been smh.
also I personally find ctrl harder to hit for leveling abilities I use ALT+ abilities instead feels much nicer since my thumb is right there .
About quick casting, something ive done is i have the normal quick cast, but if i hold shift and press my abilities i have quick cast with indicators and self cast.
So, if i just wanna use an abilite as fast as posiable, u just press it, and if i wanna know the range OR wanna cast it on myself, i hold shift and press the ability. I like this very much.
Edit: i see know that he set normal cast on shift+ability, i still like this way i have more though.

About refresh rate and the fps. Not only when you have more fps and hertz u get a smoother vision. U also get a lower inputdelay!
for the smart wards is that just quick casting on the trinket key?
