- It's time for a new project, and here it is! A 1972 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 that I purchased in Florida about a year ago. It's going to get a full restoration on the channel over the next year. #alfa #alfaromeo #alfa105 #carrestoration

Very excited to see this come together!
Thank you my friend!

Message me for any tools I might need on this build.
Thats cool, i'll be watching this build, just be careful with modernizing parts as if they look too new they look out of place, still enjoy custom touches and fabrication
Plan on still using the Spica air box to keep the look
Who did the bodywork on this car? It could not be rust free after so many years. That paint actually looked fine to me. The body is in incredibly good condition.
The body work and paint was completed by the previous owner before I purchased it.
Did you PAINT the aluminum engine? WHY?!
Because I wanted to.
@@CarSpecGarage Your car. Good luck.
@@3ducs Thanks, my response was more of a joke. I’ve always painted engines.
The 72 GTV is one of my all time favorite Alfa Romeos, and I've owned 3 different ARs over the years, including a 1965 GT Junior (1300) that I raced in SCCA as a 1600. Finding OEM parts became a royal nightmare! Keep up the good work.
Thank you my friend.
Looks a lot like mine project. Only from ‘74 but same color. Good luck with your build
Thank you.
