YOOO! My throat is much better, thanks for everyone who sent messages and comments. I thought when I got the infection it's just some normal sore throat but I tried to Ron Swanson through it and it was a big mistake. It's good to be back!
"In this video..." I explain where the fuck I've been for the last few months. You don't call. You don't write. Knox and I--we... we just cry constantly. Glad to see you back, homie. Stay healthy!
we missed you. Good to hear that you are well. Keep it up Odd. Good and entertaining gameplay with Phly. Was good to see you 2 haveing a good time - teamwork.
that thing about the fuel load might be modeled in correctly: a lot of aircraft had multiple fuel tanks tucked in there in different spots in the body and it was not uncommon to have one big one in an awkward spot that they would burn through on their initial climb then the fuel meant to actually run the mission on stored elsewhere (note: I can't remember off the top of my head if this list includes the P-51) with the climb tank full the aircraft had their center of mass sitting in a weird spot and often didn't preform _nearly_ as well until it was gone. ^properly speaking there SHOULD be a command to dump that tank if the performance difference from it is being implemented as a mechanic, the real ones either came with that option or got it bodged in there by the ground crews the day they were delivered.
@MrLBPug (adding this here since it didn't end up being clear in what I wrote) thanks! so they were probably not on the list I'm thinking of then: the ones I was thinking of had multiple internal tanks (usually just 2) with at least one of them positioned with no regard for it's effects on the aircraft because it was added late in the design stages and only needed to be there for the start / intended to be empty for most of it's flight, same general idea as a drop tank really but internal and reusable and generally smaller. even a glorified jerry can's worth of weight in a bad spot can have a surprisingly large effect and these were usually something like 50+ gallons and often shoved in there somewhere way off-center like up behind the cockpit or tucked back in voidspace in the tail section so burning that first section of the fuel load had a _very_ noticeable affect on the vehicle's characteristics compared to the rest of it despite not being all that big a percentage of the total. this video in particular made me think of them because the mentions of them almost always have that same "it feels like a completely different plane after blahblahblah" line.
Hey odd just a quick tip on your nukes now. If you look at the bottom it shows the nuke on screen once you hit 2000 sp and it full lights up once you get 2500 it's down beside the ammo selection on the screen. And once you get the nuke you just press a button almost like how a drone works. So you don't have to J out you can just find a safe place to park and push the button and boom you're in your nuke plane. It's a pretty cool feature
Odd -- Love the content, the "accent" and the way to describe events or vehicles. You have given me so much content to learn from and want to make my own channel. No where near your level in war thunder nor creation, but man you are one of the reasons that got me back into this game after a ten year break!!! Thank you so much to you and your folks supporting you (i do through the creator discount and Gaijen). Love this use of Napalm!!!! keep up the great work!
Glad youre back Oddbawz. You don't need to J-out u can press on the nuke image on your hotbar to spawn a nuke and if you die in the nuke you get back to your tank 29:37
Hi OddBawZ just wanted to tell you that you inspired me to start making warthunder videos. Im really glad that your feeling better and hope you stay that way.
Finally back! Hope you're feeling better odd! I've rewatched almost 4 years worth of your videos during your time away. As penance, I want you to only play vehicles which you've never featured before for the rest of the year! The amount of vehicles you've said you would play and never have is too high! EDIT: Also, bring back Benny! You 2 were so cute together!!
I think since you’ve been gone I’ve watched every video on this channel and wow it’s weird going from your old videos and old wt to your new video and the current wt
Hello!!! I guess those "unintelligible Scottish noises" finally caught up with you, eh? Glad you're feeling better and are back in action! Stage 1 done, 5 more to go until the Derp-hill is mine!!!
The best part of dog fights in ground is because your enemies can't see you. It makes it a lot more organic without the red nameplate and most of us don't want to play sim to get that.
Welcome back brother! Glad to hear you've recovered from that infection, looking forward to the return of war thunder to youtube between you and mr Phly!
YESS, bawz i’ve been checking out my yt notifications to see if you posted something for 2 months now, I thought I just couldn’t see your videos and boy I was upset. I really missed your heartwarming accent
Well hello again friend, it's nice to see you back, I am also glad that Phly's back again and that the content with the 2 of you together has returned!! Keep it up 👍
The best dogfights. Possibly because there's no markers on everyone so you can really play the stealth aspect. Kinda like playing GRB over arcade ground because nameplates blow.
Welcome back mate, glad you're better! Sorely missed! That HVAR salvo on the Lanc was epic, one of the best WT moments I've seen. 😂 P51-H is a straight up beast, good everything but fantastic power. Just a pity about its current air RB matchmaking.

i love that you brought back the story intro.
You can fly out the nuke plane wuthout bailing out now - click the button, or assign a shortcut (same as bomber in Arcade, IIRC)
