Great find and I'd say Eric would be very proud. Just found your channel for a comment you made on the other Eric's channel of advanced level automotive. Thanks for sharing.
Mark Eastwood Thanks for stopping by and checking the channel! This thing whipped me lol but luckily I was live on FB when I was diagnosing this problems and one of my buddies happened to remember that Eric o had this same problem. That’s how we figured it out!🤦🏽♂️ And Eric of Advanced Level is a great tech and I try to catch all of his videos! I hope he’s found some help for his shop! It’s very hard being a one man operation!
@@gregjones8501 . Yes hopfuly he has found someone and that someone has good interest and pride in his or hers work. I'm a one man band myself but I'm a mobile service so that's fine for me. Looking forward to more vids from you whenever you have the time. Thanks you Mark
@@elongnutz2531 For some reason it distorts the voltage signal from the ftp sensor and causes the ecm to misinterpret the signal as erratic causing a check engine light. I don’t fully understand why myself but it does.
I'm gonna have to check this later. I'll keep you posted.
We need more brothers like you that can diagnose out here. Thanks for sharing bro

Mark Eastwood Thanks brother! Gotta work on my editing but I’ll definitely be bringing more vids!!
Thank you!!!
Good stuff
Great video! Does that mean the power steering switch is bad if you had to unplug it?
Yes it was definitely bad but they opted to just unplug it and it’s still running same way lol
So what exactly is the fix for the problem?
Just unplug the power steering pressure switch.
@@gregjones8501 why does the power steering pressure sensor affect the evap sensor?
