I remember in late 1997 or early 1998, Gamepro or Electronic Gaming Monthly showed a screenshot of the upcoming WWF War Zone game that released in August 1998. That screenshot showed a matchup screen with two wrestlers and an In Your House logo behind them, indicating that the game would have multiple arenas. However, once that game released, it only had the Raw arena which disappointed me.
Bob Johansen He wasn't my favorite but he was fun to watch when I was a kid. You know, children like cartoons and anything wild with bright colors. Well it was less about Vader as a Wrestler and more of his brought to life toonish persona that made it super interesting ..that and he's a huge man who can do moonsaults off of the top rope. Truly amazing, couldn't take my eye off the television when he was Wrestling.
Russell LeBlanc I think he meant he was his favorite in the video game. Vader was a power house in this PS1 game. I always used Vader also in the game, he was my favorite cause I couldn't be beaten with him.
Kinda wish they kept making games like these during this era but I know 3D became the big thing. They should make another game in a similar vein to this. Maybe in like the Streets of Rage 4 artstyle. I'd buy the hell out of WWE game like that.

This was so out of date, like I think this came out in '96, but it shows different variations of the wrestlers like - 1994 - 1995 Shawn Michaels (mainly WM11 HBK attire) 1992 Ultimate Warrior (shown by the blonde hair and blue trunks) 1994 - 1997 Undertaker (evidenced by his mortician coat, hat and both the gloves and spats are purple) 1993 Bret Hart (I think by the black top and pink trunks) British Bulldog is British Bulldogs with the hair cut, he didn't have a short hair when using those tights, he was using the trunks. 1994 - 1997 Owen Hart (referenced by his "King Of Harts" nickname and the fact that he uses the "High Energy" theme in this game)
just think how awesome it would be if they made a new wrestling game just like that. would be pretty cool if digitize the wrestlers the same way and put it on the PS4 and Xbox one plus added in a lot more wrestlers and better graphics. now that would be epic !
