Besides El Chapo, ADX Florence Super Max houses Tsarnaev (the Boston Marathon bomber), Terry Nichols, one of the Oklahoma City bombers that killed 169 people, Eric Rudolph (the Atlanta Olympics killer), Zacarias Moussaoui (one of 9/11 terrorists), Robert Hanssen (FBI agent who sold secrets to Russia), Michael Swango, a doctor who poisoned more than 60 patients and colleagues, Richard Reid, the airplane shoe bomber who hid explosive material in his sneakers, Ramzi Ahmed Yousef, who helped in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, Ted Kaczynski, the Unibomber (he died from cancer last year after being transferred to a medical clinic in North Carolina).
one of the guys i used to work with years ago (we'll call him bill) had just been released from a maximum security prison. he told me two stories, one of a guy (he claimed) had commited multiple murders (around 8 to 10 people). this guy would spend his 1 hour of "yard time" standing outside of bill's cell and would stare daggers into bills soul until it was time to go back to lockup. the other story was another guy had a psychiatric episode and started biting chunks out of his own arm and apparently you could see the nerve endings and arteries in the dudes arms hanging out, the bites were that deep
He seems so posh and judgemental/arrogant in this video. He was probably having a bad day though Idk. Even with his body language he's just sitting there leaning in waiting for someone to finish talking so he can one up them.
You guys should do Worlds Worst Prisons. Theres some in South America where the inmates just walk around freely and have basically mob bosses in there. Anyone can kill anyone, people starve from being robbed. Guards dont even go inside! They just let them all fend for themselves
I think you guys would be interested in John Douglas, the first FBI profiler. He's written some books about famous serial killers he's profiled and talked to. I read his first book The Mindhunter, and it mentioned a serial killer in my home town. I don't know at the moment if any of his work is on TH-cam, but I bet it is.
guys in the supermax will pull their own guts out, literally, because the solitude and the design of the prison removing all reality from the prisoners drives them insane.
Guantanamo Bay Detention Center isn't technically a prison. That's why it gets attention the way it does. You can be held there without trial indefinitely. It isn't in US territory and military combatants don't fall under the same rules/rights as civilians. While some have been released many countries wouldn't take a lot of them and their home countries were deemed too contentious for security reasons. It was argued that we couldn't house them on US soil for safety and security reasons. So there was this ongoing argument of if it should be closed or not, where the housed were going to go and who was in charge of how they were housed. (interrogation tactics etc) I think there are still 2 or 3 dozen ppl there.
It’s in the name, “detention centre”. As for where they should go, they just need to build a proper prison for them, if they are in a secure facility then there is nothing unsafe or insecure about keeping them on US soil, however then they would have to treat them better which is likely why they keep it open.
I went to school with someone who ended up being a prison guard. She wasn’t working a max security unit or anything and she ended up being stabbed in face. Below her eye. She lived but that’s why I would never.
Concerning prisoner transfers, I worked for a commercial construction company in the US that specialized in building federal buildings. I was working on an addition to a Federal SuperMax prison and was shocked by the arrival of two Apache Attack helicopters which were escorting a Chinook. Apparently, the Chinook was bringing a Mafia member from New York City who had turned on his bosses. There was a contract out on him and the Feds were stashing him in this prison in a southern state until he could testify.
A lot of prison guards are almost as bad as the prisoners. Most were too dumb to pass the police exam, and enjoy having control over other humans. The amount of sexual assault between guards and the prisoners is staggering.
As for number 7 on this list, I'm not sure this prison is that different from the reality on the streets of Paris. 🤷🏻♂It's probably no secret to anyone that Paris is currently one of the most dangerous large cities in Europe. And certainly one of the most dangerous European capitals. The crime rate in Paris is twice as high as in the capital of my country (Poland).🤷🏻♂
The guy left off the infamous Tower Of London operating in the 16th and 17th centuries with some of the most brutal torture practices, hangings, beheadings and even crafty heist of the crown jewels and escape attempts. Watched a cool video on it's history and sure wouldn't have wanted to end up there!
This channel really took a dump when they started reacting to right wing and republican videos and agreeing with them. I'm not surprised that their views are down
Which videos? Reacting to the same type shit as always. Also, if they were reacting to "right wing" shit their views would go up. You can see that trend with other reaction channels. Their views went down because they couldn't post for like a month.
I just don't understand the desire to house career vicious bestial criminals. They can't be rehabilitated, and why try even if they could? They have a price to pay, but by keeping them alive, we have to pay an unbelievably high price ourselves. I don't get it.
14:42 "Belmarsh is the worst of the worst." Julian Assange, the most high-profile and important political prisoner in the world, has been held at Belmarsh for almost five years. His case defines the US/UK relationship for the last decade. A decision on extradition to the US is expected within weeks. The future of freedom of the press worldwide depends on the outcome. He's an innocent man, a journalist/publisher, who exposed the crimes of imperialist powers. Are the OB not aware of this? Why wasn't this mentioned?
the usa isnt imperialist, they need to be an empire first which requires an emperor or empress in full control like a king basically. they also dont have colonies. im tired of leftists calling any country they hate “imperialist” and dont realize it requires expansion into land they doen own then taking oevr and owning it.
Years ago, before twitter became X, or whatever. I joined to see what the fuss was all about. Within 10 minutes of joining I was banned for life. I've had multiple copyright strikes against me for videos I used to upload to YT. I get the usual message about whatever record company flagging me and YT warning me and asking if I want to plead my case. I tell them and record company to F Off. And a week later I would get a response saying that the strikes have been lifted and I'm free to use the music. I think its because I'm such a small fry with like maybe 10, if even that subscribers, that they just laugh and say..."We ain't wasting our time with this guy, let the sucker upload it, nobody is going to watch his channel anyway!" 😆😆
If Office bloke Daz gets caught shoplifting a candy bar he's ending it all 😂
Such a cowardly response by him
Yeah you get time for a candy bar. You living in North Korea?
I thought you said Officer bloke Daz. 🤣
@@SteelyMcBeam420 For real. I hated the message that sent.

I had a friend that served at gitmo. Those guys had absolutely no comforts. Quite a few went insane.
If you only get a sentence of 5 years, chances are your crime wasn't severe enough to go to a max or super-max prison.
Peter Sutcliffe was from Bradford and he spent his entire time in broadmoor
