Arnau Puig there are a few things I liked about mkwii compared to mk8. There were old textures on most characters that lets just say keep the details if they stayed, plus Rosalina's old voice that to this day I not only prefer but still seems perfect for her unlike the one now (I just can't stand the new voice), the old roster not only because of the layout that balances characters evenly, but the cast that has characters that people would expect rather than clones especially younger versions no one asked for, and finally being able to dodge the blue she'll by drifting for speed in place (also a mention).
well no not unless you want to be a jerk and clip into something in battle mode which may not be possible anymore due to the new battle mode courses which is a good thing actually the slow blue/red shell glitch is useful it's 200cc exclusive and can allow you to outrun a blue shell for a long time

So I have an error/glitch I need help fixing, so my kart drives backwards on it's own but if I try going forwards my kart goes slow and even I hear weird engine kart starting noises in the switch controls. (I play this on nintendo switch) and the car sometimes doesn't wanna advance it just stays their but with the weird noises, and to try to go faster when I go backwards I move to the correct place but backwards so I can play without having to have the glitch as a problem. but lakitu gets in way and pulls me back the right way but I still glitch even if I exit and re enter and it sucks. Can someone please give me a solution to this problem please? I really want to play but this glitch ruins the fun.

It's not a controller issue, since it works fine for every other game I have, it only happens on Mario Kart. I've tried changing between the two controllers I have but the issue still continues. It's basically unplayable in this state. Is there any way to fix this?
Mario Kart Wii had so many better glitches. With 8, they fixed a lot of stuff, like taking away wheelies and making it so lakitu just instantly puts you back instead of you falling all the way first. I remember there was so much cool MKWii stuff, such as how you could get up on the wooden girders in Wario's Gold Mine and drive all the way back to where the mine carts spawned. I wish they'd give us a bit more freedom in 8. At least it's easier to clip into stuff though.
This game would be so much better if lakitu didn't pick you up every time you even tried to drive in reverse.

There are still ledges on the new courses, so you can totally clip those.
I hope if that's the case that they A fix the clipping glitch or B get rid of the floor in out of bound locations
