Thanks Jamie, yeah they go off but when there in the side of an old timers mound, you have to dig them, although shows gold could still be in the area if targets like that still exist.
It had some water flow through it this week, not heavy enough to move too much rock. I broke away some bedrock and a signal appeared, the power of the 4500 with a Sadie coil. I watched ep34 video, that part of the creek was covered with large rocks, they got flushed out a few months back leaving it clean, but always had water in it when I was there, turned out lucky for you, good way to finish your trip.

That's great u found some gold and a lead shot where an old timer went off at his hole and shoot a round into it 😉 he definitely was mad to shoot the bank
He done well, I went back to the subs site to look for someones lost glasses and he was still having a swing, so I took him to this area and bingo 2.47g nugget, so he went home happy.

It's a great little creek that one, as it erodes hopefully more gold will be released, I need some nice heavy rain.
