Nice going Pete. Good to get a bit straight up. I just got a bit at lunch time but I could have done without the nails but no one else found them. Beautiful little spot. Take care mate 👍😁
Thanks Andrew, lunchtime gold is always nice, makes for a nice afternoon. Well you know if its a gold producing area and there is plenty of trash, the gold will be there as well, well done for doing the hard yards for the gold.
Good groundwork, Pete. This valley is a natural lock. Lots of rain could wash amazing pickers out of the clay there. Definitely remains interesting this place 🤠🇩🇪👍
When I walked the creek before I started, that area looked nice and I got lucky straight up, some places don't always look to good to be true, some actually are good and true. Cheers, mate
Thanks Joel, makes for a good day when you get gold straight up. I'd like to go back and put in a good day testing the area, including the creek walls, some nice gravels there.
I'll be heading back to this one soon, when we get some rain to fill a few pools up, but still plenty of ground to swing over also, still some good times to be had there. Cheers, Pete
afternoon delight ! nice little piece Pete ,then after that you could say you were up the creek without a paddle. id be happy with a .4 no prospecting this week too wet and firewood duty.
I'm going to head back once it rains and fills some water holes, its a creek that would only flow during rain, so if that big hole fills I'll be able to test and highbank. Its an amazing creek, the hydraulic sluicing has carved out huge amounts of gravel, I'll get footage of that next trip there. Thanks for watching Glenno, cheers mate.
For sure mate, it was great to snag it straight up. I moved rock and a lot of time there was a target under it, need to head back and move a bit more, but I would like to crank up the highbanker there, I think that would be fun.

Thank you for another great time . See you soon my friend . Cheers

Thanks mate, yeah I'm waiting for some rain to fill that big pool and I'll head back, be able to test pan and run the highbanker, I know it has gold so hopefully there's some in that gravel.
Thanks Kris, we have just come into winter now so we should see some rain, that creek will only flow during rain storms, but it could have a couple of water holes hold enough to do some sluicing soon.
Terrific video again Pete. You are a natural in front of the camera, just being yourself. I can relate to almost everything you do whilst swinging that GPX.
Thanks Trevor, I think it takes awhile to get use to filming, but after time it becomes a lot easier, its also easier when your by yourself and just talking to your camera. Hey Antony, all depends what your detector is, if its VLF like a Monster don't head over the Korong Vale side of town, can be very mineralised out that way. Hard Hills is good for Monsters, hit up the light coloured old timers heaps. If you have a PI like a GPX head out the Logan road there is some good ground on the left side of the road not to far out of town. Or head to Inglewood out the Dunolly road, head out about 1.5km head in on the right and you will see diggings everywhere, good ground for about a km or so, good for PI and VLF.
