I think it has been about two months since i subscribed to your channel. I cannot tell you how much i love what you do, and who you are! I am 53, my youngest is now in college, my lease is up in March, and at that time, my huge dog and I are hitting the road! About a month ago, i purchased a renovated shuttle bus. She's old! But, she has a lot of character, and I love her. While i had no part in her renovations, i am having some upgrades added (bluetooth screen and infrared back-up camera), at the moment. There are a few more little things to be done, before Im living in her full time, but I am so excited for this next part of my life! Right after i purchased her, i started having these awful snippets enter my head...am i crazy?!...have i lost my mind?!...Im in way over my head!!! BUT, watching your videos has helped me to knock that off! Yes, there will be bumps in the road (haha), but that isn't going to deter me from my lifelong dreams! You need to know that you are having very important impacts on people's lives! Thank you! You really are appreciated!!! And I look forward to each new video you bless us with! ❤
Learn some skills to do basic mechanical stuff. Old is GOOD! Just watch some of these channs with the absolute nightmare scenarios when there newer rigs breakdown. If your running old rigs, carry spare starter, alternator, even a battery (and tools!) Don't be afraid to be PROACTIVE about replacing things. I have MANY many rigs here (prob 5-6) and my daily driver 2013 e350 needed a new valve train (7000 idle hours) took its toll. That starves the lubrication to it, its a wheel chair van and would sit literally for days running AC waiting for a dispatch call . So we "finished it off" with 6000 mile trip. Soooo, since I love the van, we put a new engine in, and while the mechanic is in there DO ALL adjacent replacements, hoses, belts, fan clutch, older pulleys, water pump, power steering hoses, , transmission lines, radiator..... I will be much further ahead.
The simmer pot! I always do the pine, cinnamon, and the cloves as well. The smell is to die for! My home always smells so good in the winter time. Stay warm & cozy out there! ✌🏽💝
Van life reminds me so much of my grandparents farm. Of course it was a house but cooking was done on a wood burning stove that also supplied heat..Water came from the well hand cranked up in a bucket. Food was home grown & canned. Meats was from farm animals, eggs from chickens. I would trade everything I own to go back again!💖

So peaceful and beautiful with the snow. I was camping with some friends up in Pecos NM the weekend before Thanksgiving and we were expecting some good snow but only got a dusting but it was still cozy around the camp fireplace!!! ❤❤❤

Akeela reminds me of my Sorcha in actions. 🐾♥️ This year though 😳 the HAIR seems never ending shed 👀 My jackets, pants, socks 😄 and de-hair my pillow at bedtime every night 😄😄. Sorcha too naps a lot through inside time and makes it look so inviting 🥰💤.
I love the winter but at my age and pushing my body for years I get a lot of aches and pain at 67. We had our first snow yesterday in Southeastern MA, which was great. Tell that good young man that Papa Tony/ Lawrence says hello.
We are full time in our small”ish” travel trailer and I’m struggling with the thought of heading in to our 3rd winter as I’m already cold (but it did get down into the 20s the last few nights)! You have a great attitude about it - hope it’s catching - ha ha!
I love seeing people excited for snow because as a North Dakotan all my life, I can't STAND winter. But then again, we get seven months of absolute depressing cold.
I wish I lived somewhere it snowed a little! I love cosy winter days with our fire going... though one of our dogs likes to take prime position right in front of it 😅
You should buy a small Dutch oven. There are some that would fit on the wood stove. You could also get a normal one and do these special roasts outside. Instapot seems very wrong!
Thorougly enjoyed evry second of this. And it was a little bittersweet, as so much of what you were doing to prepare for winter and the joy you get from doing so reminded me of when I had my little 1940 built craftsman bungalow on two acres in Montana. I miss it so much. I heated with wood only and loved the “chores” associated with it. I loved winter in Montana, although it could get well below zero at times, and blizzard conditions….which I didn’t mind since I had my warm, cozy home to shelter in, but I always felt bad for my horse. She did, however, have a really nice enclosed shed to go in. And I REALLY miss planting flowers and growing my food ! I lived in paradise for 5 1/2 years …..surrounded by open land with mountain views in 3 directions……these are all things that you will experience one day. p.s….the music you chose to go with the snow scenes was perfect
That fire place is everything🥰 I don’t think I could have those big ole dogs in my bed. That’s just me. A lot is ppl don’t mind. And that’s ok! I know ppl that do! To each is own! But I love watching the two of them play (the dogs)
Look we both know smaller spaces do get mucky but you know that’s life and your out in the freezing cold 🥶 I know you will clean as and when you can but get the important things done first look after you and Chris and Akela and the other dog to love watching your videos 👍❤

What is the flavor of AG1? I blend Vital Greens into smoothies unless I’m using fresh greens, and I have other powdered greens that taste something like apples and grass. I always use more than one product. It would be nice to have greens that taste good blended in water or juice. Have a blessed day!!

And it was a little bittersweet, as so much of what you were doing to prepare for winter and the joy you get from doing so reminded me of when I had my little 1940 built craftsman bungalow on two acres in Montana. I miss it so much. I heated with wood only and loved the “chores” associated with it. I loved winter in Montana, although it could get well below zero at times, and blizzard conditions….which I didn’t mind since I had my warm, cozy home to shelter in, but I always felt bad for my horse. She did, however, have a really nice enclosed shed to go in. And I REALLY miss planting flowers and growing my food ! I lived in paradise for 5 1/2 years …..surrounded by open land with mountain views in 3 directions……these are all things that you will experience one day. p.s….the music you chose to go with the snow scenes was perfect

What is the flavor of AG1? I blend Vital Greens into smoothies unless I’m using fresh greens, and I have other powdered greens that taste something like apples and grass. I always use more than one product. It would be nice to have greens that taste good blended in water or juice.
