2017 Infiniti QX30 Sport Review

- Despite a few minor issues, the 2017 Infiniti QX30 Sport is a solid little car that feels much better than its Mercedes platform twin. I love how it looks inside and out and it also drives really well, but I wish this topline model had all-wheel-drive, which would really help it be a complete crossover package for some drivers. That said, the front-drive model is perfectly fine, and I’m happy to take all the tech upgrades and sportier driving dynamics over the option of having AWD.

pretty unique styling.. but i still cant move on from lexus nx 200t 😶
These crossovers that are actually just hot hatches are becoming more common. Shop carefully, I don't think these are the end-all be-all car type they are sometimes made out to be. I'm pretty sure I'd have just as much fun in a Subaru WRX for less money and more power. The price on the QX 30 is not terrible but still.

No push button start or smart key?? A decade old Nissan Altima has that.
brorowcarwiz I'm sure it has a button. They just didn't give it to her. A lot of times the button is still inside the glove box with the owners manual and spare key. Just insert the button where the key goes and never take it out.

EB That's my point exactly. No matter the trim, it should be a standard feature across the board. Infiniti is at a low point.
romel 4life From what I gather from the Infiniti website, it's flat out not available. You're stuck with the 2005-era Mercedes key. Unacceptable at this price.

I love how she was searching for a Mcdonalds because like, same! Infiniti is a great btw, I really recommend this brand.

Nice looking hatch. MB and infiniti have already dissolved this partnership so this joint platform is one and done.
The shifter is actually a Mercedes shifter that they use in some of their higher-end models (obviously not the GLA but I guess Infiniti didn't want a column shifter).

when I first saw it, it was very nice and still is but when I went to the auto show to sit in one it was the most smallest and cramped thing I have ever sat in the Fiat 500 has more space than this also the head room is non existent and I couldn't even see out of the front.

I live in Sweden. We also have snow in winter. I drive cars since 10 years ago and never needed 4wd. It always irritates me when journalists points this out like something negative. It is just a trend not necessarily a solution for a real problem.
I prefere good winter tires and limited slip diff :)
Yes, with winter tires equipped, the drivetrain difference won't be that much of a deal, only in extreme cases, but if you are bit lazy that wants a one act fits all, like just equipping all-season tires, AWD/4WD will be much better
Here is a little fact....this car and the Mercedes GLC share the same platform so if u ever wanted a GLC but never had the money get this instead...

Not as blind as gen 3 prius
Door locks, handles are cheap. Car sounds like a diesel on idle, too expensive for what you get, and it is very aggressively while moving from. A stop or even while braking.. Don't like it
jvrdlc so you want the door locks and handles to be high quality, doesn't really sound like a diesel cause I own one, and the price tops out at around 45, 47k base price is under 30k

justin bouche becuz as the presenter said it has stunning lines and curves that give it elegant and sporty look. The proportions are nice and right and subtle yet still aggressive and sporty looking. I personally like it.

Looks good but I don't understand the point of these small wana be SUV's, at this point you might as well go out and buy a GTR like I did if you want that much room.....at least you would have more fun;) hehe

No way out of not having the white lining on the seats for sport models it seems (tried on their website). Also ugly ugly ugly wheels. Did I say ugly? Why non-sport model wheels look sportier than this (those are still ugly). Are these wheels 16 inches? because the design does make it look so small, and again, straight out ugly design. Infiniti messes up their models somehow. Q60/50 models look awesome without the ugly foot-long shift knobs. Their silver interior trim without offering dark counterpart is a minus. And this model, it is a beautiful shell, but they messed up on the wheels and interior trims and the must-white-line on the seats. It's like someone steps in during the design process and messes it all up because that person's job is to destroy this brand.
