  • "BOURBON MOTH WOODWORKING IS ABOUT MORE THAN JUST AN INDIVIDUAL PIECE OR STYLE, IT'S ABOUT TAKING SOMETHING ORGANIC AND NATURAL AND RESHAPING IT, GIVING IT A PURPOSE AND PLACE IN YOUR HOME AND DAY TO DAY LIFE.
My main goal is to build awesome stuff and share those builds with as many people as I can. If I can do that without being boring and hard to listen to thats a bonus.
I have been fascinated with building things by hand from a very young age. In a world consumed by mass-production, there is something so gratifying in the slow and meticulous process of creating a unique piece from start to finish" (excerpt from bourbonmoth.com).
This video explores the current life of Jason Hibbs otherwise known as "Bourbon Moth" in his career of custom woodworking turned into a full time commitment to content creating.

When you want a piston fit drawer not on a table 10” or so off the floor. Thanks for the great content. Entertaining and instructional. You did a fantastic job with this! From what little I know about Jason, meeting him in person once or twice and then through IG stories… you showed his fun, “don’t take things too seriously” personality that everyone loves! It was fun to see his surroundings and the music was awesome!

Great guy, started my woodworking with his voice in the background. Awesome ideas, and the humor is just super!

Hard to believe you’ve been on TH-cam such a short time. Your approach to your videos is honest and genuine and that keeps it entertaining yet informative. I watched your bed video about fifty times before I attempted to build two for my kids. Let’s just say I hit every snag you said I would but man did I learn. The 2x4 hanger was genius....lol!

I've been a subscriber to Jason's channel for a while now. His style of presentation is great, and hes good at teaching a technique or walking the viewer through his process.

Thanks for telling your story. Watching TH-cam videos of people making perfect furniture can be both inspiring and deflating. Hearing you talk about how you started, and what tools you started with puts it all in perspective. Keep up the great content.
