My main goal is to build awesome stuff and share those builds with as many people as I can. If I can do that without being boring and hard to listen to thats a bonus.
I have been fascinated with building things by hand from a very young age. In a world consumed by mass-production, there is something so gratifying in the slow and meticulous process of creating a unique piece from start to finish" (excerpt from bourbonmoth.com).

By far the coolest woodworker I know on TH-cam. Besides his skills I very much like his sense of humor plus the fact that he doesn't seem to take things too serious.
Jason's obvious skills are what attracted my attention. His sence of humor keeps me coming back... Oh, and the Foreman's occasional appearances too.
Spot on. It's very obvious to see he's an extremely talanted woodworker, which is what got me orginally subscribed, but couple that with a funny fun loving personality (as opposed to a ton of monotone, serious, dead behind the eyes alternatives). TH-cam gold right there!!
And the Foreman is also the Captain of the boat.

" I Love my job" How many people can say that and mean it ? I'm 60yrs old and never could say that. I had a job to pay bills. Now I wish I would have gone a different direction years ago. Keep up the good work.
I lost my job with the pandemic and decided to start my own woodworking business. I am still struggling and learning everyday but I am thankful for the content of yours and others that have given me the confidence to try to start a business doing something I love. I rarely comment on anything social media wise but I want to say thank you and congratulations on your success. I am hoping that my passion will be able to support my family in the future.
I wish you the very best! As long as you keep improving yourself everyday if even by just a little tiny bit, you will be successful!

I’m a woodworker my self for a living, One of my favorite memories about Jasons content is when he made the giant LEGO Man, He ends up oiling him up like a tiny LEGO Man athlete. Absolutely hilarious, He’s extremely talented.
That was an awesome clip. I'm pretty sure the LEGO man enjoyed it, too.
That was hilarious... and there is also the time when he used his beard to spread glue. It makes him such a fun person to watch and learn from.
Every time I watch another video by or on Jason, I like him a little more and look for some other way to support his content creation. He's clearly one of the people the world needs more of, and I am grateful to have found him as he launched on YT.
Very well said Daniel, I completely agree. Any time I hear another person in this space speak about Jason, it is always very complimentary of him. Wishing Bourbon Moth continued success.
I had the same experience. His quirky personality and humor has grown on me. Videos like this about the person in the videos helps me learn about their story and feel more connected to them.

That moment, when you see just 10 seconds of a shot of a bridge, and think...oh, hey that's home! We are just a bit south of Jason, who has become my favorite to watch for learning how to build things for our house. This video was really nicely done, and I very much enjoyed it.

Jason has quickly become one of my favorite TH-camrs to watch. His silliness is I think what makes him so entertaining, but his actual woodworking skills are amazing as well.
OMG. You totally have to do one of these on Mike from The Geek Pub, the 8-Bit Guy's brother, and cousin of Pantera's Vinnie and Darrel fame!!! That guy is amazing.
How do you NOT love this Dude?!? His sense of humour and "chill" attitude are perfect and I learn something from him every time I watch his videos. And I agree: River Tables are way over-rated!

I'm 41 years old, but I want to be this guy when I grow up. However, unlike all the other dreams that I got sidetracked along the way (death metal drummer, financial analyst, electrical engineer), I'm pretty confident I will finally do this one.
I started woodworking 3 months ago just to try something new and really not having money and very basic things. Bourbon has been a motivation and I hope I become sucessful
This man has single handedly inspired me to be a woodworker at the beginning of this pandemic. Thank you Jason! I'm sure there are others just like me.

The last scene with the stubborn tape measure just cracked me up. I can't tell you how many times I'm glad nobody is looking when that happens.
For the first time in a few videos it didn’t make me cry, mostly because Jason is so funny and the dramatization had me hanging on the edge of my seat, I wasn’t sure if he would be murdered at the end. I’m glad he wasn’t. It would be ashamed. The closest I came to shedding a tear was over how BEAUTIFUL his work is, it borders on disgusting. Disgust at myself for not being this good at anything in my life...and now I need therapy. Thanks Justin Mabie and Jason Hibbs! Sincerely though a wonderful video on yet another wonderful person in the maker community ❤️❤️❤️! I’m so proud of you Justin!

I started watching Bourbon Moth last year when I was laid off of my job and decided to see if I could turn my woodworking hobby into a business. So far I am having a blast and making a few bucks. Love all of Jasons vids and I have learned a lot from his channel. Nice to see this video about this talented man. His videos never disappoint..

I found Jason's channel when he built the tank and I have been hooked ever since. He is knowledgeable and extremely entertaining. I'm learning and laughing every time I see one. One of my favorite channels by far.

By far, the best woodworker on you tube. I've been a concrete finisher for 30 plus yrs.now.but I started out making bird houses.and I really enjoyed it. So I bought a bunch of tools and here I am a few years later making tables, benches and cutting boards.but to be perfectly honest, I suck.But I have learned alot from your content. Keep up the good work, Jason.
I have done many things, bicycling, woodworking, Boy Scout Leader as hobbies. I create software to pay the bills. I love it all. If I don’t notice the time or that I am hungry or realistically anything else I am in the right place. I love your content because you just do stuff. You show that the best practice isn’t necessary (panel glue ups without biscuits, dominoes or dowels). Truthfully when in 1 thou important? When you want a piston fit drawer not on a table 10” or so off the floor. Thanks for the great content. Entertaining and instructional. I love the start video antics and the Bourbon Moth theme music just as much as router the circle one, rough cut with the jigsaw then flush time. You freaking rock!

I am a home brew shop owner that started to get my feet wet in wood working after finding your channel. I went from chainsaw milling a black walnut to a finished tv cabinet for my first project all with the help of watching your videos so thank you. You mentioned there a a lot of craft breweries around you, have you thought about building beer flight boards? This is now my favorite video from you, real and raw. Keep you the great content, Cheers

I have been going to UTube University for a few years now and have the attention span of a gold fish when I found your channel is was hooked love your energy and sense of humor is know how hard being a content provider is besides having to make the project keep up the hard work your killing it brother !!!! Loved this video! It is really been awesome to find you on Instagram and then watch your videos here on TH-cam. This one was great because I cannot very much identify with your story and it is great to know more about how it all started and he’s going with you. The woodworking community has absolutely been an awesome thing. It amazes me how supportive everybody is with each other in general. I truly believe it’s because we all have that passion to create and get better as we go. We’ve all been there starting off not having a clue and we remember how I was.

I watched your bed video about fifty times before I attempted to build two for my kids. Let’s just say I hit every snag you said I would but man did I learn. The 2x4 hanger was genius....lol!
I've been a subscriber to Jason's channel for a while now. His style of presentation is great, and hes good at teaching a technique or walking the viewer through his process.
