      Didn't you specifically talk with Steve on his podcast about supporting everyone in the community and growing the craft? Totally understand and respect it's not everyone's cup of tea but maybe river tables is what gets a beginner initially interested and motivated to start woodworking at a higher level and then they come across this and feel totally deflated.

      @JasonPeliwo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@daviddejulio863 and then again maybe blowing up said river table might get guys retiring from the military as explosive ordinance technicians into the craft of building awesome stuff. And at the same time help their mental health as they sand and sand and sand. There, Jason may have helped a lot of military folks with that stunt. You're welcome...

    Hello Jason, I am a beginner woodworker from South Africa and I absolutely love your videos. You have taught me so much that I use in my work. To all those who say that you can only complete these projects with all the specialized tools, I say you have not applied you mind to problem solving. I don't even have a workshop, I have to carry all the tools out of my garden shed and work on a work mate in the garden, and yet I can still make what I need, Take ideas and tips from these videos. My work is no where near the level of Jason's but he is a professional. He shows you what is possible. thank you again for your amazing, informative content. please keep going. P.S your jokes are cool.

    Love your video's, and watched all 100 of them. Do not love that you blew up non biodegradable epoxy into small pieces and shattering them in a forest. ☹

    My wife asked me to make her a river table, I made it, she loves it. I guess I get the point that pouring plastic on wood is not woodworking (certainly enough woodworking youtubers make that point that it would be hard to miss), but I have to say, the success of that table has justified three years of tool and wood purchases for other projects, so I just can't join the hate parade. But, hey, its your channel. blow up whatever the hell you want! ;)

    Ready for that Bourbon Moth online store to open up its tool selection. I think I've bought everything I need that J Katz offers, so eff him and his little heartfelt notes he packages in with everything..

    lololol... I saw the title and I literally said out loud "Wait... what?" Then I saw the opening scene and it started to make sense! Those mean comments were cruel. I don't have a wood shop. I have about $400 in tools. I don't know how to build anything you show, but you are awesome. You are incredible funny and your wood working skills are masterful. You are a sweet dad and a loving husband. I love your videos.

    THAT WAS THE BEST!!!!! I don't really care one way or another about those tables. Everyone has done them to death. Now a light-up river headboard or river bathroom shower/toilet divider I would like to see! Kudos Jason and Jonathan, nicely done. Stupid haters!

    Now explane me why you needed to spread plastic all over the forest.
    Why??
    You surely collected bigger piece, but not the smallest.
    Nature doesn't need new plastic, we already spread enough !
    This time I don't like your video, I'm sorry
