Capital One rep stated to me that there is no limit. She said its something she has heard but stated there is no official policy that limits you.
Have 12 cards in my setup but these 2 are the backbone for sure.
Keeping it simple is always good. For most people and for people keeping it simple, this duo is great.

Thanks for the video. I have the capital, one setup and also the American Express set up. The capital, one setup is a no-brainer. (No annual fee ). The american express because our home airport has a centurion lounge. And my wife and I fly about eight times a year.

Hi i got a quick silver not sure how you got 7k cl mine has been $1150 for years.
@@bluejay713 from my understanding Capital 1 tends to bucket people. I originally got 3k starting CL. I used it it alot for 6 months straight and then I requested a CLI, which they gave me$3,900. Then 6 months later asked for another one and I got $5,300.00 and finally I requested one 7 months later and got 7k. I've been stuck at 7k for over a year now. I've had the card for a total of 3 years.
Recently started following your content and you’re super knowledgeable on credit cards. I travel at least once a month to see my daughter in NY. Over the years I’ve only used my NavyFed platinum card. I’ve used this card for the past 5yrs and I have no points/miles whatsoever. I seriously need to get a better card/cards. I’m not loyal to any airline or hotel. Any suggestions?

I have 2 Quicksilver's (MasterCard & Visa), 1x Venture One (previously Savor One, before mistakenly upgrading it less than two months ago), & just got approved for the Venture X less than 2-weeks ago.
So basically I have 4-cards
there wouldn't really be any benefit to using either of the quicksilvers or the venture 1 if you have the venture x
@@TheSonyExperience I know, both of my Quicksilver cards are my oldest in my credit history. My mistake is that I "upgraded" my Savor One to the Venture One. Keeping the Venture One for the time being for the 0% APR and see if I can "product swap" the Venture One or one of my Quicksilver cards to the Savor One Card in the near future.
Yes for minimalism, period. considering all insurance you could get and banking products capital one has, and physical location. basically you only need one app in your phone.

Basically all of them need you to have confirm seating.
Check the pnr, if the flight is very empty, talk to your gate agent and see if she can assign you a seat.

If you're going to take a year off from traveling, I'd suggest product changing to one of the no annual fee venture versions to not lose your miles. Then, when you decide to travel much again, you can product change back to VX.
@@ab3040 whats a "large balance"? You can burn it pretty fast flying international business. Save it dont do cash back.
Savor one and Venture X or Amex Gold and Platinum???
Amex has the greater rewards, and will cost you more… that’s the trade off. Capital One is great though!
Amex Plat can be an expensive coupon book. Can you do better than the $945 in AF’s between them both and then sustain value after the SUBs are gone? Breaking even is not the game here. If life changes you can’t downgrade out of a fee. C1 setup easily pays for itself without effort, and have downgrade options.
It depends on how much you travel. And what you value in that travel.
@@kennethjackson My wife and I usually shop at Asian grocery stores and eat at Asian restaurants... most dont take Amex anyway so its pretty useless.
No thanks. The $300 travel credit and the 10k miles have to be used in Capital One's travel website. There are more options and better customer service when you book airlines and hotels directly with the brand. Not to mention your loyalty program benefits.
The 10k points can be transferred to travel partners like any other points in your account.
Currently hold 5 capital one cards, please stop saying there is a 2 card limit. That is absolutely false. Call capital one, they’ll tell you it’s not true. I normally love your videos but I’m quite tired of you not taking the 2 minutes to look into capital one policy.
I don’t know why everyone keeps repeating this Capitol One two-card limit nonsense. It’s simply not true.
Capital One only approves you for 2 cards. The exception being any cobranded cards don't count towards that limit.
@@Slaize Wrong. I have had a Savor card, a Venture card and a Quicksilver at the the same time. My partner currently has a Venture X, a Savor One, a Venture One and a Quicksilver. Where does this nonsense come from?
