      I would like to see Barcia or Tomac take that bike through a real test, i seen Barcia ride his 2 stroke, hes on a completely different playing field. These guys are getting off 450's and taking these 125s for the rhythm race, i never seen Barcia let off the gas the whole time, go to his site he has the video there. Just to see these guys take these 125's through there ropes is incredible and how fast they can go is impressive.

    If that peaks at 47-48 on different dynos across the country, i wonder what he could do with a 250 two stroke that is shy of 50 stock? Sounds like he got things figured out. Catanzaro needs to have him build a KTM or Husky 250 two stroke and try it out.

    First thing I think of is imagine a prime James Stewart on that thing!
    Second thing I think of is what a great plug for someone who OBVIOUSLY knows what he is doing. TLR rocks.
    My third thought is AJ really doesn't know what 36 to 1 means. Mind blown. First I find out that Stewart doesn't know how to tighten a chain, and now I find out that AJ doesn't know about fuel ratios for 2 strokes. It's amazing what a lot of pros don't know.

    • @AjCatanzaro
      @AjCatanzaro  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      TLR is awesome!
      My parents were divorced when I was little so I wasn’t around the bikes when they were being worked on. I just rode them then my dad would take them back to his house. Then when I turned pro I always had mechanics, so I never learned. And now I have no desire to learn 😂 I’m grateful that I have the ability to ride my bike then not have to worry about it 😁

    • @kings17court
      @kings17court ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@AjCatanzaro I wasn't busting your balls, which is why I brought James into the conversation. I'm sure A LOT of pros don't know a lot of things that we assume they know. When I told my wife that James doesn't know how to tighten a chain, and that AJ doesn't know what 36:1 means, she said how is that possible? My best explanation/justification was, "I guess guys that make it to the pros ride so much and train so much, mixed with school and travel, that the parents just shield them from anything else related to what they are doing, such as the mechanical and maintenance side of things ---- just to give them a break. That plus from early on they have mechanics to do everything for them." I don't like doing the work, but I do enjoy being able to do the basic things to keep the bikes tuned and working properly. Personally it feels really satisfying when I've gone through the bike, and everything is in tip top shape, and ready to go.

      I left out the small spring. It worked with that combination. Airbox/exhaust system. There were total of four issues. The spring did help a massive amount which I myself have never seen that big of a gain. I think the airbox design is more of a high volume than a high velocity which caused the engine to struggle through mid and removing the spring just helped it pull through that area. I wish I would be involved in those shootouts.

    Hey watching you guys struggle with the fuel barrel... dont pull the plastic lid off you use that and its tabs to pull the nozzle outwards then you unthread the cap lol fyi so you dont get your hands saturated in fuel again. Also on board with the keep the bike program!! Thats a golden nuggy and id rather see it in the hands of someone who can use it!!

    What if you give it away AFTER the next Straight Rhythm? Then you could vindicate this years performance, create a cool story line (that would get air time), AND fulfill your promise to give it away? And, you might win Straight Rhythm too (with or without a Superman)!!! BTW, love your channels most of all!!!
