This was awesome! What an experience for everyone, including Jett, he genuinely loved it. I'd love to hear and/or see the footage of Deano. Quick story about giving back by teaching. Years ago when my parents weren't paying for my Season Pass Skiing anymore, I couldn't afford it being a 19/20 yr old kid, I had been a competitive mogul skier & an expert since I were a young teenager, so I decided to be a Ski Instructor so I could ski for free. Quickly into the season after being taught how to teach & I was taking classes & privates out, I was doing it for all the wrong reasons...It went from doing it to ski for free, to doing it for the feeling I had when seeing those I taught out safely enjoying themselves using the tools I taught them. Being an Instructor is one of the best things I've done in my life, I've continued to do it on & off for the last 30yrs & it's still the same, pure enjoyment taking someone that has never ski'd & an hour later seeing them having the time of their lives being able to safely turn & stop run after run. Props to you guys...Jett & AJ are 2 of my favs, Deano being part of that group too.
"...almost identical to his first turns" HAHAH. Man that slow race had me laughing. Such good videos. Can't wait for the next supercross race AJ. Hope you do well.
This is one of your best videos. I appreciate the sincerity you bring to what you are doing, and your teaching method is great. I'm a 63 year old motocrosser (for 50 years) and I have learned alot watching your video's. Keep up the good work.
So entertaining! The slow race was great. I enjoyed that and seeing the stoppies. I bet every race guest you have on has a bike skill that would be just as entertaining to us!
Way back in the late 80's I broke my collar bone, the following week I headed down to Unadilla to watch the national. I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't ride, due to the collar bone. I was at the starting line watching the guys go out for friday practice, when all the sudden this guy pulls up to the line and he was missing his arm from the elbow down, clutch side. Let me clarify it was an old injury or maybe a birth defect. Well in my head I'm laughing at this guy thinking what the hell are you going to do with that setup. Turns out the laugh was on me. He rode well and on Saturday he qualified to ride the Sunday main. Back in those days the nationals were held on Sunday. On Sunday he finished both motos, he was not last nore was he in the way. He was the real deal. I have been studying riding and riding teachers my entire life. I grew up on a horse farm so I know better than most that technique is huge, I'll say it's near the top in the 3 keys to success. AJ is hands down the best communicator of technical skill I have ever seen, and you guys need to take advantage of his teaching, because he is going to take off like bitcoin, and before long he will be out of reach.
Isn't it amazing, isn't it humbling how God sends us the life lessons we need to know. Mine came the morning before I was about to perform a surgery on a 5 yr old that had cancer. I wasn't feeling very well and was grumbling as I was scrubbing up. I felt a tug on my pant leg. It was the kid being wheeled into the O.R.. This is a 5 yr old. He said " Hey, what gives you the right to be so angry? Chill, grow up, I'm never going to know what it's like to grow up, have a girlfriend, or have fun, ever. I've got 5 days left of my life, let it go. I need you today". I don't think I have to finish the story of how I cried right then and there. Getting set straight by a 5 yr old DAMN!! HE passed in 4 days I'm 61 now was 30 at the time and every day I've woken up I repeat my mantra " what gives me the right...."
This was an awsome video. Everyone seems like they are having fun while learning, this is what mx is about, friendly competition, practice and community. I had a blast watching this!
I think it was really cool of Jett to give his time for the kids and help them out. I just became a fan of him. He sounds like he is a nice young man. Cool
As old pro racer I love see how down to earth Jett is 🙏 And help young riders is important for the future to come..... And so many think a race bike solve the problem! Heck no.... They are just custom to fit the rider.... Best regards from Scandinavia Sweden 🇸🇪
This was awesome to watch! I died laughing at jett instantly checking the brake rotors after aj explaining he only used his once. "It's a little warm" 🤣. Two great guys, I feel like this needs to happen more 👍👍
Great video! It was interesting to see that side if Jett. He was a bit out of his element. Creative class too! I'll have to try the one-handed riding and pass that on to my friends.
Motocross Community is an amazing group of people! I would love to see the next Junkyard Dog come from this program it's by far the best! Junkyard dog is John Dowd FYI
This channel is the best. I'll be coming to here for all my tips and learning it's so good. Watching from AUS loving the content and can't wait to put Into action some things I've watched.
Jett is such a cool dude. For 17 he’s seemed to mature in the correct way while still keeping the fun 17 year old attitude. Most marketable person in the sport.
thing i like about lawrence is way he uses his leverage on the bike......really maximizes his height and leverage to bend the bike and get maximum benefit.....
Great video! Jett lives up to...EVERYTHING! What a great kid and so talented on the bike. My money is on Jett as far as the future goes, he is going to be legend in the sport. Terrific video AJ!
So have you heard that Chad Reed opened a MX Park up here in Statesville NC? It's called Moto40 MX Park. Maybe a future place for some classes seeing it is fairly "close" to your home?
I did the 10 min standing drills with Tommy Weeck and Ryan Huffman during one of the RiseMX training days. It doesn't sound that difficult, but when you do it correctly on your toes through the turns section and down the drop off before the Chuck Sun jump at Washougal that is harder than you think. My Calves were burning by the end of it.
This aged well… though it’s not these drills… it’s his talent and technique, also you can tell he genuinely loves being on bike, he realizes how good life is and is taking full advantage! I would personally like to see him stay on 250 1 more year but that’s not my decision! The kid is a natural, his technique is so fluid and smooth very little wasted energy! I have seen a lot of guys on a bike but I’m here to say as far as records go and such as long as hes in good health he could 100% shatter standing records in S/X and MX! He’s a genuinely likable dude!

I always though a.m. at morning. P.m. past morning
a.m. = at morning p.m. = past morning ...No need to get all scientific 😜😂
Count me as a new fan of Jett, how can you not pull for this guy. Great video great insight. Thanks
“...., how can you not pull for this guy....”....hmmmm....that choice of words to an Australian would be considered quite weird in that context.
"Im sure he uses this technique for times qualifying" 😂 These dudes are awesome
Sorry AJ but that was funny 😂
