Yes oh my gosh they get bored and it is all about them. And yes you better listen when their life is up in the air. I hate how I just get shut down in mid speach because it get's twisted to they didn't hear a word you were saying however....they did hear actually but have to have the worstest case over your thing. Entitled, self righteous, and absolutely incorrigible. They'll drive you absolutely crazy... and blame you for letting them TAKE the wheel. No thanks. Totally over it.
