It's very generous of you to share your experience and perspective on being a video game composer. You have shared so much good advice for these young students and also for an old-timer like me.😀
I would love to have a professor like you! congrats
The video I needed at this time of my life! Thank you!
I wish I had this video 10 years ago.
Interesting! Using MDR-Z1R headphones... Do you use them in stock form for mixing and mastering or you run an EQ curve to fix their frequency response?
Stock form! They definitely have a low end boost, but I absolutely adore it. For pure mixing, I’ll use my Grado Labs RS2e instead and go back and forth between it and my KRK Rokit flat monitors.
Thanks for sharing! Yes, I love the low end boost as well hehe - I am also surprised how well they take EQ. That's interesting.I have not listened to the Grado Labs RS2e, I hope I can listen to them one day (: @@StevenMelin
Great.
Were these music majors?
Middle / High school musicians!
Steven was very kind with his time and helped give advice to a range of students studying the IB in The Hague. They all play music and study it through composition, performance or with 1:1 lessons. But this was a next level discussion!
this is more of a social media/marketing seminar… where is the composing stuff 😂 but it’s still good material here about networking
Nice seeing this! #NAME? Promo sm.
