    • @landiemarie4721
      @landiemarie4721 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yep I agree. I think it looks that way (as though he's not doing the work) because Hans makes a point of crediting and involving each of the instrumentalists in the recording. Hans is fascinated by how an instrument works differently depending on the player controlling it, and exaggerating that to his advandage for the finished music. It's a new process in film composing, totally collaborative. More like a band setup. It's a wonderful way to work.

I first read his name in the credits for Blade Runner 2049 and then I've seen Dunkirk again and noticed him as additional composer in that and after that in Batman v Superman. At this point I went to his imdb and he's done IT, Hidden Figures, A Cure for Wellness and world on Harry Potter, V for Vendetta and 12 years a slave as composer, orchestrator or conductor. @@steveashawasegai1041 Yrs you can clearly see the rest of the table not rate him. He worked on Gladiator in a little room opposite the edit room, sometimes he co works as he produces so much work and loves to work with everyone. What he isn't is a Ghost Writer, salty lol

    I watched a great video once describing how the piano coming into the mostly very medieval sounding score of Game of Thrones is symbolic of Cersei's new world with the piano being a much younger instrument than the cello, the guitar etc.
    Also the instrumentation of the show is spectacular, with all these acoustic instruments for the more "realistic" stuff and then ambient electronics for the "supernatural".

    I did an online course with Hans on the MASTERCLASS series way back in 2017,
    this is such a buzz to hear this roundtable discussion over a good glass of Red, with the advantages of hindsight,
    loving it as I raise a glass,
    Thank you Gentlemen 🍷
