I am raised in a Christian home and we go to church every Sunday and Wednesday.I got saved when I was 7. A few years down the road I had a lot of doubt and I thought I was going to hell when I died, but I always put it off, then last week we went to a Baptist church camp that we go to every year, and he asked us if we were 100%sure we were going to heaven when we die and I couldn't say yes, I told my self I would talk to my youth teachers wife tomorrow, and then after the night service I asked her to come pray with me and she said yes and asked me what was wrong and I told her that I didn't think I was saved and she took me out side and talk to me and read me some verses from the bible, and that night I got saved!!!! I was so happy I went and told my Bcff (best Christian friend forever ) and two other girls I met. Then on Sunday we always have a testimony night to talk about what the Lord talk to use about while we were at camp, and lucky me a got to go first, and that's when I told the people at my church I was saved!! You are never to old to get saved and don't be scared to tell someone, I was very scared but I'm so happy I told her 🙂, sorry this was very long but I just wanted to tell y'all.I have not got baptized yet, my pastor is recovering from a heart surgery he had last Friday and today is Thursday so he has not come to church.please pray for him 🙂❤️

This video really speaks to me on so many levels. Ive been through every form of abuse for 21 years of my life. Went through severe neglect, escaped an abusive relationship that resulted in my nose breaking twice and him attempting to kill me multiple times, growing up I felt so alone. I fully surrendered my life to God a little over a year ago and my life has completely changed so drastically that I actually freaked out because I wasn't use to things going good in my life and when I actually had a good week I freaked out wondering when things were going to go bad. When people were nice to me I was scared they were going to hurt me, and when I opened up I freaked out and tried to shut everyone out because I expected the worst from everyone at my church, but God showed me I was safe, nothing was going to go wrong, and the people at my church won't judge me and they are nice to me because they love me. It took 1 year with God to reverse 21 years of neglect and abuse. God is good.
Unfortunately when I wrote that comment, turns out that I was in another abusive situation with my family. I now battle with severe CPTSD and am currently in counseling to help me process and heal from the trauma and abuse. But good news is I did break free from my family and now God uses my story of growing up in a narcissistic family and escaping them to help others escape abuse and help them get the healing they need. I’m also planning on going to school to be a counselor and I also got married this year. 3 years ago I spoke too soon on my story of escaping abuse. But I’m doing much better now
There are so many songs that i wish i could have heard three years ago that would have helped me keep mt eyes on the lord but hearing them now will help me not look back and keep my eyes on the lord. Thank you for the great songs!

I was born and raised in the Baptist church. As an adult I had become disappointed in organized religion. Nothing at all wrong with it. Just wasn't for me. Once I left the church I began to study the Bible on my own and do some serious soul searching. I now know church is anywhere and everywhere. If you are struggling with anything, just talk to Him. He doesn't care where. Don't let yourself be turned off by some who call themselves Christians but don't ACT like Christians. True Christians try to emulate Christ who is ONLY about love and acceptance. Loved this song. Brought tears to my eyes.

I sang this song at my school's Karaoke thing at the end of last year. I am a teacher's daughter, but last year I was homeschooled and just came for that. Nobody knew me other than the kids I knew in Elementary and I got up there and most of the kids that get up there are the ones that can't sing but they think they can. I started and nobody knew what to do, I got to the chorus and kids just got up and started screaming and whistling. There are only VERY few Christians. I got to the end and everyone was standing clapping and I looked over at my mom and she was standing there amazed. She thought I was gonna sing something from the greatest showman or something, she was so happy.
I was an atheist and a drug addict criminal through most of my teen life. Jesus Christ changed me forever. I'm almost 19 now and I would die for my faith in Jesus Christ I know without a doubt in my mind he is the Son of God. Jesus loves you man he died for you. There's a reason you feel light in this song.
I spent the last year of my life, despite how perfect it might have seemed by those watching me, feeling alone and forsaken by God. It took getting confirmed and graduating for me to really know who I am in Christ. Those feelings of loneliness return every now and then, and sometimes they seem overwhelming, but then I hear the amazing songs like this and I feel better almost immediately. Honestly I head this song various times before on K-Love but it wasn't till recently that that seed has geminated and made this song to really resonate and ruminate (bare witness on the inside); perhaps because I have made a firmed decision to let go of the trash that I was tolerating in my life previously. Recently I've gotten a sure word from the Lord to start proclaiming the Gospel truth over me and my situations; and call those things (that be not yet as if they already were)from the spirit realm into this physical world by declaring that I'm alcohol, sex, porn and pain, hurt, shame and blame from the past FREE!! And sure enough my feelings and disposition has followed those faith filled confessions!! It's nothing short of a modern day miracle b'cuz we serve a miracle working God. Amen!
Not going to lie, your lucky you don’t have a Christian parent, they are so obsessive. One problem, and they are like, god will help us, any good thing that happens, god lead us here. Its really stupid, I went from being a Christian to hating their guts entirely. In my opinion god is just an excuse for people to escape reality.
It's really nice to know we can be born again into the family of God/Jesus. Washed and cleanse d by the blood of the Lamb God first love us so much so that he sent his son to died for our sins so that we can have everlasting life and to be with him.
I heard this song for the first time on the radio and was immediately HOOKED! I didn’t even mean to put on the station. My car was in the shop and I was borrowing my great grandmother’s car (it’s become the backup for the family since she doesn’t drive anymore). K-Love was the only radio station that would come in and it’s an old car so hooking my phone up to Bluetooth wasn’t an option, so I just kept it on. When this song came on, I got goosebumps. Needless to say, 2 Sundays ago, I was finally baptized in the name of Jesus Christ by my pastor at my new church. My 5 year old son was there with me and it was such a special day that I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Glory to God for all he has done and continues to do in my life as well as my son’s life. I will never be the same again and thank God for that! Thank God that he loves us too much to leave us the way we are! This song changed my life and I hope it does the same for someone else. This video really speaks to me on so many levels. Ive been through every form of abuse for 21 years of my life. Went through severe neglect, escaped an abusive relationship that resulted in my nose breaking twice and him attempting to kill me multiple times, growing up I felt so alone. I fully surrendered my life to God a little over a year ago and my life has completely changed so drastically that I actually freaked out because I wasn't use to things going good in my life and when I actually had a good week I freaked out wondering when things were going to go bad. When people were nice to me I was scared they were going to hurt me, and when I opened up I freaked out and tried to shut everyone out because I expected the worst from everyone at my church, but God showed me I was safe, nothing was going to go wrong, and the people at my church won't judge me and they are nice to me because they love me. It took 1 year with God to reverse 21 years of neglect and abuse. God is good.

Unfortunately when I wrote that comment, turns out that I was in another abusive situation with my family. I now battle with severe CPTSD and am currently in counseling to help me process and heal from the trauma and abuse. But good news is I did break free from my family and now God uses my story of growing up in a narcissistic family and escaping them to help others escape abuse and help them get the healing they need. I’m also planning on going to school to be a counselor and I also got married this year. 3 years ago I spoke too soon on my story of escaping abuse. But I’m doing much better now
There are so many songs that i wish i could have heard three years ago that would have helped me keep mt eyes on the lord but hearing them now will help me not look back and keep my eyes on the lord. Thank you for the great songs!

I was born and raised in the Baptist church. As an adult I had become disappointed in organized religion. Nothing at all wrong with it. Just wasn't for me. Once I left the church I began to study the Bible on my own and do some serious soul searching. I now know church is anywhere and everywhere. If you are struggling with anything, just talk to Him. He doesn't care where. Don't let yourself be turned off by some who call themselves Christians but don't ACT like Christians. True Christians try to emulate Christ who is ONLY about love and acceptance. Loved this song. Brought tears to my eyes.

I sang this song at my school's Karaoke thing at the end of last year. I am a teacher's daughter, but last year I was homeschooled and just came for that. Nobody knew me other than the kids I knew in Elementary and I got up there and most of the kids that get up there are the ones that can't sing but they think they can. I started and nobody knew what to do, I got to the chorus and kids just got up and started screaming and whistling. There are only VERY few Christians. I got to the end and everyone was standing clapping and I looked over at my mom and she was standing there amazed. She thought I was gonna sing something from the greatest showman or something, she was so happy.

I'm almost 19 now and I would die for my faith in Jesus Christ I know without a doubt in my mind he is the Son of God. Jesus loves you man he died for you. There's a reason you feel light in this song.
I spent the last year of my life, despite how perfect it might have seemed by those watching me, feeling alone and forsaken by God. It took getting confirmed and graduating for me to really know who I am in Christ. Those feelings of loneliness return every now and then, and sometimes they seem overwhelming, but then I hear the amazing songs like this and I feel better almost immediately. Honestly I head this song various times before on K-Love but it wasn't till recently that that seed has geminated and made this song to really resonate and ruminate (bare witness on the inside); perhaps because I have made a firmed decision to let go of the trash that I was tolerating in my life previously. Recently I've gotten a sure word from the Lord to start proclaiming the Gospel truth over me and my situations; and call those things (that be not yet as if they already were)from the spirit realm into this physical world by declaring that I'm alcohol, sex, porn and pain, hurt, shame and blame from the past FREE!! And sure enough my feelings and disposition has followed those faith filled confessions!! It's nothing short of a modern day miracle b'cuz we serve a miracle working God. Amen!

Its really stupid, I went from being a Christian to hating their guts entirely. In my opinion god is just an excuse for people to escape reality.

I heard this song for the first time on the radio and was immediately HOOKED! I didn’t even mean to put on the station.
My car was in the shop and I was borrowing my great grandmother’s car (it’s become the backup for the family since she doesn’t drive anymore). K-Love was the only radio station that would come in and it’s an old car so hooking my phone up to Bluetooth wasn’t an option, so I just kept it on. When this song came on, I got goosebumps.
Needless to say, 2 Sundays ago, I was finally baptized in the name of Jesus Christ by my pastor at my new church. My 5 year old son was there with me and it was such a special day that I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Glory to God for all he has done and continues to do in my life as well as my son’s life. I will never be the same again and thank God for that! Thank God that he loves us too much to leave us the way we are! This song changed my life and I hope it does the same for someone else.
